Before I knew it, the beginning of winter had already started. A few days ago, we had just harvested sunflower seeds. The memories of the short season of sunflowers became our warm winter sun, and the air seemed to smell like the passing summer.
不知不覺已經立冬了。幾天前，我們才剛剛收穫了向日葵的種子，向日葵短暫一季的回憶，成為了我們冬日的暖陽，空氣中似乎又嗅到了那個逝去的夏天。

The sunflowerin the video is Mammoth - a very tall, single stem variety. It could reach 12' (4m) tall and produces 10"-12" (40cm) flower! (If they weren't hunted ...)

根據我後續的研究發現，向日葵的品種非常多，有不同的高度、不同的生長屬性。
作為鮮切花花園第一波種植，我們選擇的品種是猛獁向日葵mammoth，是一種傳家寶巨型速生單桿品種，抗干旱，對土質要求不太高，高2-4米。
據說種得好、不被小動物吃掉的話，可以長出直徑30cm臉盆大的花朵！室友就是因為這個臉盆大的花朵而挑選的這個品種，哈哈哈，下次再努力？

It’s really hard, sunflower is squirrel’s top delicacy.
@@galastudio9 I see. It seems to me a feeder with regular refill of sunflower seeds maybe needed, perhaps and no guarantee whatsoever these cute squirrels would leave the live sunflowers alone. Oh joyful nature. :)
