They both got 15/life , it took him 27 years to come home . I followed in his steps and went the LP came out and was convinced to enlist in the Marines because I have older cousins who are also Marines . I didn't want to end up in prison alive in a grave. In prison you think you're somebody but in the real world are nothing, can't get a good job, have no credit, no house, nothing and for what? For a cause that is a myth.
A cause that is delusional, false, a brotherhood that does not exist! I once said to myself “if I can be down for the barrió, why not be down for my familia instead!” Letters, street names, numbers, and city names are all just an idea someone invented that in reality have no meaning! Take control of your life while you still can!

But I believe Simon's eventually turned into what is South Side Montebello now. But not sure.
