    I wish I could have seen the pattern on the fabric before you cut it. Your directions are really good I am glad I watched before I started sewing this pattern.

    I wish more instructors explained like you both do. I really like the detailed layman words you used. The camera view is very good too. Thank You very much, I honestly get intimidated reading pattern instructions and also with other ppls video’s that do not go as detailed as you both do! I love it, gonna subscribe

    Hi. Loving your channel. Could you do a tutorial for New Look 6483? I’m a beginner and the interfacing instructions is confusing. 😬

    Enjoyed watching your video. I especially enjoyed how you talked through your thinking and problem solving process. I also feel more comfortable having extra closures with a wrap dress or blouse. I use snaps. Please do more videos such as these.

    Great tutorial, I do have a suggestion that might make your gathers lie better with less pins. If you make a line of basting stitches in the seam allowance and a second one below the stitch line the gather will already be lying flat across the stitch line when you sew it. They seam to look better when sewed this way. With this method you will have to remove the set of basting stitches that are below the stitch line after sewing.

    Hi girlies, I have this pattern and yes I agree with what you said about the instructions on the pattern not being very clear to follow. I love the way you talk through the way you made the blouse.
    But I notice on most patterns the instructions are not very clear at all! 💕

    How did u finish the sleeve edges. As shirt sleeves I end up with a folde over seam on the under arm that just looks unfinished. Wondering if I'm doing something incorrect?

    • @SewcalSewcialite
      @SewcalSewcialite  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol! I'm not sure which part about the "backstitch" you're referring to. If the stitched seamline will be sewn over by another seam, you can get away with not backstitching. I'm happy to report she has been wearing and washing the too and it's still intact 🙂🧵🌈

      @@SewcalSewcialite Hi, pleased to hear it. I would be nervous of the seam opening up. First time I've seen stitch size reduction on a dart too! I don't back stitch on a dart. I run off the edge of the fabric then tie the two ends together. Interesting to see different ways of constructing garments. Have a lovely day, Vicki.
