EXTRA INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SET: There are multiple versions of the baseplate: one with white dots to indicate placement of parts, one which was light gray with blue print (without the dots), and one which was blue plastic.
@4:00 You see that the pin is the wrong mold, you need 4085B en that looks like 4085C. Just a tip to make it more original, been parting the set together myself :-) Enjoy!
my first lego pirates set! I got this several years later, because i was born in '87, so it's impossible to have it in '89... maybe for my birthday in '92... I still have in my collection, complete with his box
Great story! Yes there are multiple versions of this baseplate: one with white dots to indicate placement of parts, one which was light gray with blue print, and one which was blue plastic.
That's strange because for many fans, including me, these are the nicest and most interesting themes to collect. There are also a lot of sub-themes of Castle that make collecting fun because sometimes there are only a few sets of them per theme. So you can also collect nice subthemes of certain themes, which I will do in the future, because collecting everything turns out to be impossible :-)
@@reyvenpl3525 there are some reviews about classic space and expolriens on my channel. I try to find nice sets but they are very expensive with box and manual!
@@henrysvintagetoys i know.. i receved last time the Mega Core Magnetizer from M-Tron. It was not cheap, but as for that price i payed it was like for free anyway. I was very lucky :D
