Dr. Jeremiah explores the fear of death in this interview with Moira Brown and shares the Biblical insight for facing down this fear with faith.

To be absent from the body means to be present with the LORD.
That was the Psalm I was reciting over and over in the MRI on Monday morning. It brought me a lot of peace. I also asked if there was something that the techs were to see and record, please, Lord, allow it to be revealed. And yes, they suspect cancer is what they see and I'm on the journey so many of you have already walked. ........but I am fearing not. Love to all.

When my father was at his dying moments, he pointed to heaven and tried to say "angels" in slurred speech. So my mom asked again, and he repeated, more clearly, "angels". That settled the question for me.

My friend's mother died early one morning.
Before she passed away, she accidentally woke her husband up when she began waving her hands and arms. He told her to go back to sleep (she had terminal cancer, and the medication gave her crazy dreams and hallucinations).
She told him to "LOOK! LOOK! LOOK AT ALL THE ANGELS! THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL! IVE NEVER SEEN AN SO BEAUTIFUL!"
After that she put her arms down and closed her eyes and that was it.
That gives me such hope and encouragement!

Years ago, we had a young woman who was in the hospital with bowel cancer. I had spoken with her several times and knew that she was really afraid of dying. One day, her nurse asked me to go speak to the patient because she had asked to speak with me. I went in and she told me that she was no longer afraid because she had gone to sleep and when she woke up, an angel was sitting next to her bed. God is so kind to us. He loves us so much to relieve our fears.
I was with my brother when he passed. About an hour before he passed he started reaching out with his arms straight out like he was wanting to hug somebody. He would move his hand like in a waving position like he could see someone he was waving to. My sister in law and I decided that he could see our loved ones who have gone to Heaven and he couldn’t wait to reach them. He was still in that ol body of flesh waiting to be free to greet them. Shortly after that he stopped breathing and was still and we knew he was with Jesus and our loved ones in Heaven. ♥️
I was with my mother when she died. She was not able to see, but knew I and my siblings were there. I was holding her hand and wetting her lips occasionally. Just before she died, she pulled her hand from mine, waved goodbye, pointed to the sky and took her last breath. I knew then that either Jesus, or an angel had come to take her home.
Your mother’s spirit eyes became open, she saw the spirit world moments before she passed away.
What a sweet and comforting story. My sister and I were at our mother’s bedside as she lay near death. We sensed a little hesitation on her part, and I was moved to tell her to go on; her daddy (who had died when she was only 6 years old) was waiting for her across the River. She then seemed to relax, took a long breath, and she was gone. I’m looking so forward to being with her again! Because of divorce and mental illness and other issues, I feel we just didn’t have enough time together. It’s comforting to me to know I’ll have her for eternity this time!

We are so blessed to know that when we die they come for us. We are equally blessed to know we have our name in the Book of the Lamb and one day we shall also go home.

A year and a half ago, I watched my only child, my son die. It was and is the most traumatizing experience of my whole existence. He was 25 and had autism. From his cancer diagnosis to death, it was only seven months. When he was still able to sit up, he would look around, like he was looking for something or hearing something. He’d tell me he wasn’t, but I knew there was someone there. He just didn’t want to upset me. A cousin of a friend of mine came to pray over him and began singing “Jesus Loves Me”. He squealed with such joy, everyone felt it. I’d ask him if he was scared. He would answer, ‘No. I have Jesus and my mom.’ I watched my boy die. He was in such pain, but had the courage and confidence of a well seasoned general. He knew he would be well cared for on the other side,in Heaven. My faith has taken some hits since then but I no longer fear death. If death brings me to the throne of Jesus and an eternity with my son, I’m okay with that. I pray that God comes before then, but I would be remiss if I coward in the face of death after what my son was subjected to. May the Lord Bless you. Thank you for the your faith based message. I'm not too sure if it's going to be at the beginning of tribulations... reason being is I never understood why The word says we're going to be under so much persecution in the last days so many times it doesn't make sense if we get ruptured before this. So basically to put it simply why would he warn us about being ready to be persecuted so many times in his word if we won't be here to even experience it.... it just doesn't add up. Plus imagine if it doesn't happen at the beginning u know how many people out of fear are going to be angry to those pastors who said he's coming to take us before this all starts.... idk it's a pretty interesting topic nonetheless. Idk how it's gonna turn out but I do know one thing. God says to pray Luke as of yesterday orright now daily that you can be protected enough to endure what's coming... forgot what verse it is but it's in there lol

When my oldest brother died back in the early nineties I was beside his bed and he saw someone coming for him because he raised both arms toward the ceiling and he was ready. I sure do miss him but I know he is in a wonderful place.

I lost my 40 yr old son to cancer while at hospice, I moved to the hospice to be with him 24/7 and that’s exactly what happened to him, he told us (nurses and doctors) in writing that the Angels were there to pick him up, he raised his hands and a couple of minutes later 😭😭😭 he was gone!
exactly what happened to my comatose invalid mother. Surrounded by family members at hospice, she suddenly opened her eyes, sat up raised both arms towards the ceiling and exclaimed ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!! then collapsed back, dead! the unsaved family members were shocked, electrified but my saved dad was thrilled! WHAT a WITNESS!!

My mom taught me so much about the act of dying. Despite her suffering, she look forward , with great joy, to see the face of her Savior. She remained grateful for every little thing done for her, in spite of the suffering. Her last lesson for us was how to die without fear but with great joy. Amongst her very last words to us were “I have nothing left to give but love”.

@David Jeremiah✴️ This teaching has been a blessing to me now more than ever! My husband is currently in his “last chapter” of life (Ps 139:16). This teaching has been an encouragement to us both! I loved what you said about death being a separation. Our spirit will separate from our body and go on to be with the Lord! Although I can’t say that I look forward to being separated from my husband, I know I will truly be able to rejoice for him that day, knowing that he will be lovingly carried into the presence of God by an Angel. Thank you for sharing this truth with us. I count it a blessing to be part of God’s plan to be able to help my husband prepare for this day without fear, but rather with great joy and anticipation for what God has in store for all who have trusted Christ for salvation!
This is truth. We who are the children of God have our name written in the Book of the Lamb. We know where we are going when we die.
My sister died at the age of 4, many years ago. She had leukemia. My Mum told us later that she heard/felt the wings of the angels who come to take her home.

My dad read the Bible every night before bed…one night I peeped in & asked: Daddy, are you afraid to die? He said: no, I just don’t want it to hurt…very funny,sweet memory….funny thing, he passed away at 91 smiling with my sister& husband…they thought he had dropped off to sleep.
They had been having morning coffee together.
Most Christians are not Christians, they just brush religion down for births deaths, and marriages, they don't practice Christian values!
My dad passed away in the car all alone before he even started the engine. I was devastated!!! That night God sent a comforter to ease my pain and to tell me he’s with the Lord! The angel showed me a vision of his huge hand reaching inside the car extended his hand offering it to my dad and my dad reached out to take it. He flew my dad off to be with Lord.

If you have asked Jesus to forgive you for your sins you have nothing to fear. The last breath you breathe on Earth will be the 1st breath you breathe in heaven. My mom passed away a few yrs ago here at home in her bedroom with cancer. The whole family was gathered around her bed holding hands and praying the lord prayer as she took her last breath. I told her to call on jesus as she died. There was a presence that came into the house that you could literally feel. I know it was a angel.

He really loved the lord. Suddenly he had a massive chest pain he got so sick vomiting even fell on the fall,he then picked himself up layed on the bed raised his arms to Jesus and then placed it on his chest. And took his last breath.

I experienced death when I was 20 years old and its true it's just separation of body , soul and spirit, our body is like a box housing our soul and spirit, the moment you had your last breath it leaves your body but you are still alive, all senses are functioning well.
When my breath returned I'm alive again.
So death is not something we should be a afraid of, but prepared for.

Before my mom passed she was telling me do you see it ,do you see it, and I told her do I see what, she go see Angel it's right there ,in the corner of the room do you see it .right after that she passed. I never seen that angel but I know that angel took her home with the Lord, that night and she's with him today ,thank you Jesus she's Alive, With Jesus⚘♥️
Thank you for this message, The Hospital killed my Father this pass January, I cried out to Jesus to please save my Dad, and I knew he believed in Jesus and watch Sermons on TV, and went to church with us when we could go. I really miss and love my Dad, I lost my Mom in 2018, and my wife and dog in 2016, my soul hurts so very much. I know they are all in Heaven, but the pain and grief is overwhelming, & I worry about my little brother who had been suffering from open wound for almost 8 years, he is all I got left. Feeling so alone and worried about everything. Please pray for me, I love Jesus and want to go home to Heaven, I am a Christian and so is my family, can't find a good non 501c3 church, my pastor couldn't even do my father's funeral services, I had to do Eulogy and Christian Service for my Dad, That I did with most Respect & Love for my Dad.💔😭🙏🏻✝️

My mother saw my brother and Jesus walk past her while she lay in bed late one night. The phone rang right after and it was the doctor telling her my brother died. (He was far away from home so she could not be with him while in the hospital.)
Years later my mother told me she wanted to see Jesus. Three weeks later she was hospitalized for kidney failure and not long after she passed. ❤️

Yes, this is true! The night my mom died, we heard angels singing along with the worship tape I was playing. It was the same chorus being sung over and over "Lead me to the Father." It was amazing.

I used to fear the thought of dying but now I feel more at ease my Savior will send his holy angel to help me cross over. Praise God for his plan is perfect example through the perfect life of Jesus. Amen.
if you are a born again christian you will go to heaven but you MUST have made that decision on planet earth NOT after you die.
🌾 No where in the NT (starts with Acts 2), the Bible says "that an angel will help us carry over" 🤔 We have the Holy Spirit who will néver leave or forsake us .. never means never. 🌀 Stephen in Acts 7:59 "Our Lord Jesus, accept my spirit into your presence". Jesus in Luke 23:46 Then Jesus cried out with a loud voice, "Father, I surrender my Spirit into your hands". And He took His last breath and died. 💫 No angel at work, but only the Father thru His Spirit. 🌟 We are One with Christ. It is only the carnal mind (own imagination) that think we will go to some or other place. Both heaven & earth are not a geographic place, but a state of mind. Col 1:26,27 🌷
In one way, when we believe in Jesus, we receive eternal life now-and have already “passed from death to life” (John 5:24). That would go along with the idea that when we leave behind the “tent” we’ve been living in, its just the “shadow of death.” We’ve been crucified with Christ, buried with Him, and raised to walk in newness of life. In fact, Paul says in Ephesians that we’ve been been raised with Him and “seated with Him in the heavenlies.” Certainly, much is said about Christ living in us and that He is with us always.
But it says in Hebrews 1:14 that angels are ministering spirits to those who inherit salvation. So, they could possibly be involved however the Lord chooses. But He Himself will certainly always be with us. He’s promised never to leave us. Hallelujah! What a Savior. We can live in the consciousness of His presence even now-but then, face to face!

My husband was taken to Heaven by 2 angels I know this because before he took his last 2 short gaspy breaths he looked to the left and then the right

Then later on I opened a magazine and turned randomly to a page with a picture of a man in the air with 2 angels holding him under his arms and going up into air to Heaven

@David Jeremiah✴️ Thank you. ❤️+ my husband went to Heaven in nov 2015 just before Thanksgiving and his bday was dec 2 Nd . He didn’t remember his address anymore but remembered my daughter and I But most important he remembered the Lord You see he had severe dementia for quite a long time. I showed him a photo of Jesus on my phone one night and asked him Who is this ? Do you know? Within 5 seconds he said. “That’s R Lord” with great reference respect admiration.
He did not remember much but in his state he knew the Lord Jesus.
I have good days and sad days but rest assured it will not be forever
Soon very soon we will all be reunited together in Heaven forever and this time we shall not ever part Thanks be to Jesus +❤️+

I have been a Near Death Experience researcher for about 8yrs now, and after listening to 1000's of people who have died and came back through many different types, I know we are not present in the body during death, especially a horrific death, we step outside our body and witness it, no pain unless you are brought back and now have to recover in your injury. Please do not Fear death, A man dying at sea, during a storm, said he was relieved to die, and feel that peace it brought his spirit, during a horrific sea storm with waves and thunderous noise. Thank you Jesus, I'm so thankful to be eternal and your child.

@@pupsymila not really....Even people who are not saved still have the same experience. Some people who thought they were saved went to hell. I have a few testimonies on my channel of people who went to hell. Feel free to listen to their testimony...The Dying part still the same very peaceful until u see the light or see the flames...
It's not death 💀 I fear, but the pain of dying like drowning in water, being cut in half, shot by gun in chest, etc. What y'all response to that on getting over it?

My grandfather is dead now was talking to relatives who passed away before him. He was talking to his wife and reaching to people the doctors could not see. He wasn't afraid but happy.
@bamboozled exact same thing happened to my grandma. A week before she went to heaven, she saw my grandpa and her younger sister who had died before her and was talking to them telling them that she will come another day, especially because we were all around her being so loving. She was pointing us to them too and saying she was seeing her husband and her sister. My mom was so worried and my dad told us someone at his work told him that if that happens typically they will leave this earth soon. Exactly what happened. I often wondered if it was all true what she saw. I’ll know when I die to see the angels come. What a kind God to send us angels so we are never alone, no not even in death. God give me more belief that even in death you will be with me and all those who believe in you!

And while we are on this earth, He invites us to believe in Him and receive Him to be our Savior and Lord and to have fellowship with Him-talk to Him and hear what He speaks to us in His Word. The Gospel of John in the New Testament was especially written so that we can know Him and believe in Him, and that by believing have eternal life as a free gift. It’s the start of a new life.

My dad was great, he was with my mom dying, he discussed with mom if all things are taken care of. Then he looked to his right, and she said he looked back at her with the most peaceful look, and said "they are here for me, I have to go". And he closed his eyes and left.

It happened to me when I died. My angel carried me home. I remember His strong arms. Then I was told to wait here. I saw Jesus Folks. HE IS VERY REAL. Jesus does Love you. Very much. He loves all of us. But not our sins. That saddens Him. It separates us from Him..

5 years ago tomorrow was when my Dad passed from cancer. His last few days were excruciatingly painful, as most cancer patients unfortunately do go through a lot of discomfort.
Imagine my surprise when I awoke the next morning after he was gone to see a slight smile on his face. In that much pain, how could you be happy? Now I know what he was smiling at. :)

When my brother was in a hospice house, he opened his heart to receive Jesus about a month before he passed. We didn't talk about death. I kept telling him to wait for Jesus's Angel's. A staff member told me he saw the Angel's right before he passed.

Before my brother passed I asked him did he see anybody? He shook his head no then immediately asked me who was sitting on my left side...no one could sit there was a table and lamp. I told him it was his guardian angel..he didn’t know who that was there..but I believe it was his guardian angel!

My lovely wife died over 4 years ago. A very strong believer in the Lord Jesus. At the mortuary during her funeral, I asked one of the mortuary staff if they've seen a difference between agnostics/atheists who die and believers. She said, "Oh totally! Atheists who die is a whole different dynamic, and not a positive one."

My sister died of terminal cancer.. there were many times at night when she said she was talking to an angel in the corner of her room.. she asked my other sister if she too could see the light..I believe an angel was waiting to take her home to Heaven ♥️

Death use to scare me till I started to read my bible then praying to God the father and God the son. I am no longer afraid of death because of Jesus and God.

When my mom was graduating to heaven I saw two very large Angels one on each side of her. Went and stood next to her and I saw a smaller angel where I was setting.
I couldn't see their faces but they were very big.
I know they take us to heaven when we're saved by Jesus our savior

Four years ago I was diagnosed with having metastatic breast cancer and I was terminal. My blessed Lord had other plans. In that moment he removed all fear from me and I was looking forward to going to be with him...four years come and gone and I'm still looking forward to going to heaven to be with him.

I have had several angelic modes of transport to heaven and loved it. On the last visit, Jesus asked me did I wanted to stay. It is this, "Standing In The Beauty And Glory Of His Holiness, you only want what Jesus wants. He sent me back to earth to complete my assignments on earth.

a dear friend's daughter was dying and he couldn't be there to be with her. I was praying with him on the phone and I began to see her in her hospital bed and soon 2 angels appeared and standing at attention at the head of her bed. I don't know how long had passed when they came around to the side of her bed and she sat up and they took her hands and she stood up and they walked through the window and disappeared.

Most people can't face the word "Death" because they never knew anyone who died and came back from Heaven to tell about it. I did.
Lived in a small town when I was 19 (I'm 70 now). It's a town where you saw everyone you know several times a week. I hadn't seen my 60 year old friend for a week or so. When I ran into him, i asked where he had been. I nearly choked when he said "i died and went to Heaven". Pretty tall story for me to believe, so i asked how he was able to come back?
He said he told God he had to come back and tie up loose ends so his wife would be taken care of, God gave him 2 weeks to do it, then he would die of another heart attack. He had to sell his tractor and pay up his life insurance policy.
I still didn't believe him, he looked too energetic to have just had a heart attack. He said he couldn't wait to go back, it was so beautiful up there, earth is so limited. He said...I feel love when my wife walks into the room, the only way I can intensify it is to hold her. In Heaven love is 1,000 times stronger and it's in the air you breath, you get all your nourishment from it. No one has a mouth to talk, or eat with, you think a question and someone thinks the answer back telepathically.
I don't think anyone believed his story, until he died again of a heart attack 10 days later. How many folks do you know who can tell you what day they will die and what is going to kill him?
Funny part is this happened 50 yrs ago, and now TH-cam has a bunch of these stories with pretty much the same facts. You go through a lit tunnel and land in a foggy white room with 2 big guys in robes guarding the door. When you have been cleaned of the diseases, bad feelings and the filth that your body had collected over the years on earth. God comes out and invites you in.
Do a TH-cam search "Near Death Experiences" and watch all the videos. My friend's story was pretty much the same, he said he couldn't wait to go back. You don't die, you transition from the body to the spirit almost instantly. You see all the friends who passed on before you by thinking of them, and they're in front of you, you can go back to earth to see your family any time you like, telepathically. The thing that always stuck in my mind was he knew the day he would die again, and what would kill him. How many folks do you know, that could tell you that in advance? He made God and Heaven real to me and all of his friends the day he died. When we die, we don't sit in a box underground waiting for the bus to heaven to pick us up in a few hundred years. We die and go to heaven faster than you can say "Thankyou God"...well some of us do.
From what I gather, evil or good, your soul never dies, so evil goes to hell where they will beg for death, but death will escape them. And the good live for ever in a much nicer place.
Watch those TH-cam videos, they're pretty much the same as my friend's story 50 yrs before TH-cam.
Oh yea, I almost forgot. He said "you know how folks stand moping around at a funeral saying " He's gone onto a better place"? There are no earthly words to describe how wonderful Heaven is." He said it is not a time to mourn your friend, but to rejoice and party in his honor.
I want to live then die and hear JESUS say HE is proud of me and all my brothers and sisters ( you guys).
Too meet Christ without dying…. We can only dream for now

My mom saw a being in her room days before her death. My daughter was in the room when my mom wanted to know who was in the room. We knew it was the angel that would take her to heaven.
My dad passed when my sister was 5- she didn’t tell us this until her 20s, but right before he passed she saw 5angels carrying my dad up in the sky with him saying ”you will be ok”. She didn’t think we’d believe her but the pastor came a day before his passing and said he wasn’t ready to pass...then this vision happened, the next day the pastor said he’s ready, and he passed, April 3, 1991

I died, no angel brought me to Heaven. I opened my eyes and was in the Presence of God. Maybe under the old covenant but as a believer I closed my eyes here and opened them in front of the Lord.
My dad saw his moma that he lost at age 3, he called to her like a 3 year old, I know he’s in heaven, when my husband died, I had a very fast vision of my husband,then Jesus, then my dad. I believe my dad was waiting for him. This really gives me such peace

My husband just died this month because of covid virus. He is a man of God and loved the Lord so much. I know he is in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. No more suffering and pain. Although me and my kids missed him so much everyday and we asked God to bring him back so I have companion to do the ministry.
