    Ustadha you are so lucky to have had this kind of care and love from the community. I was betrayed on so many levels ( not only by my family but by other Muslims too) , I was/am outcasted/never invited to any events , no one would teach me anything, I was talked about , I was highly misunderstood and the sisters even moved away from me when I went to the masjid to try to pray and make friends.... they didn't even smile at me let alone pray next to me!
    Everything I know about Islam, I taught myself. I thank Allah , I got to know my religion before I got to know the Muslim community. I've been so incredibly hurt by Muslims but I never walked away from Allah! Allahu Akbar.

      Response to -->@@seekthetruthandthetruthwil2388. Disrespecting Islam and Muslims religion may give you short-term satisfaction now, however, it maybe more productive in long-term to spend your time educating yourself in Islam instead of rejecting. Being kind and knowledgeable shapes your character not to be so disrespectful. The word Allah means God that the Arab Christians use the same word, take this as a starting point of your education to understanding Islam 🤲.

      @@iiddrrii6051 Many Hindus perform puja, or worship, twice a day, and sometimes on special occasions. Puja is a ritual prayer that involves giving offerings to deities and is a popular way for Hindus to incorporate prayer and worship into their daily lives. Most Hindus in India perform puja at home daily (55%), while fewer perform puja at temples daily (20%).
      Some Hindus also perform the "three-cusp prayer", or Trisandya, three times a day: at 6 AM, noon, and 6 PM. This prayer is in line with the Sandhyavandanam tradition.

    A very impressive and enlightening journey of faith from a female perspective. Wish she had included some mention of marriage though, since marriage is considered half of faith in Islam

    • @FrugalCouponer
      @FrugalCouponer 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I feel as though she implied it around the 43-45 minute mark. She never said "marriage" but she mentioned coming together as a couple man and woman and supporting each other.

      @@FrugalCouponer marriage is a huge issue/challenge in the American Muslim and non-muslim community. It's the nucleus of family and needs to be seriously addressed. There's no getting around it.

    • @FrugalCouponer
      @FrugalCouponer 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ericpitt-bey3005I completely agree with that sentiment however, it appears that although she speaks about her children she doesn't specifically speak about her husband or marriage. Perhaps there is something there she cannot speak on or feel she might come across hypocritical? I haven't watched all of her speeches but I get the sense that she doesn't feel she is the one to address this topic head on, from a personal perspective.

      @@FrugalCouponer Allah (SWT) knows best; none of us are perfect, but Islam is. Social reformers and professors have to at least be able to address the issue, even if its simply referring us to some other source that has moor credibility than themselves. I understand that we all may not be able to speak authoritatively on every subject, but this topic is unavoidable in the discussion of Muslim community life.

      Marriage isn’t a must. Its sunnah. It’s good to get married. But if you choose not to or you just so happen not to get married it’s ok it’s not going to prevent you from jannah. A lot of our big scholars from the past never got married. It’s not really necessary to include marriage in every Islamic conversation. There’s so many paths to Jannah & so many sunnahs for us to practice daily.
