Ancient Indian Rishi Panini's Sanskrit treatise called Ashtadhyayi was used to introduce grammer and structure to many important European languages, also many words were borrowed from Sanskrit. This is the reason why many European languages have similarities with Sanskrit and other Indian languages.

    • @Dharmicaction
      @Dharmicaction หลายเดือนก่อน +4

"BORROWED".NO. European so called "pagans" also descended from dark skinned Hindus who were present all over the world before 6000 BCE. Eye color change due to genetic mutation and skin color change due to natural selection happened between 5000 BCE to 3000 BCE. So, sanskrit wasn't borrowed. European languages just like Indian regional languages have 3 types of words. Sanskrit words, distorted sanskrit words with traceable sanskrit root and completely new words (which came out of human ego) with arbitrary meanings. Development of proper script with grammar and structure happened during colonialism in india after the " rediscovery of sanskrit"

Something you'll like to explore is the 'Battle of Ten Kings' mentioned in Vedas. People theorize that it must have resulted in outward migration from India and since Central Asia - Steppes were not very welcoming and Russia was all Ice, they went to Iran and Europe and Xinjiang.
Interestingly, the losers of that war were called Anu (Priests known as Atharvan) and Druhyu (Priests known as Druii) which might have resulted in the Druids of Europe and Atharvans of Iran and the Tocharians of Xinjiang.

In Sanskrit , all Knowledge is called SHRUT . Because written texts were written on Bhojapatra , Palm leaves ( South India ) . Such books were kept by teachers only . Mother and Father of Hindi is Sanskrit thats why I can read it barely but cant understand anything except some words though I am sure I don't understand the deeper meaning at all.
Indic religions and abrahamic religions are contradictory.......when renaissance happened in Europe in the 15th to 16th century they thought they were the best and most advanced others were more or less primitive in their approach , so they took it upon themself to educate them......when they came to Bharat they realised that they were wrong , as the time passed they saw and observed some things that existed which they did not thought was possible but they couldn't digest this simple fact and their ego was hurt as well , so to undermine us they forcefully started to impart their belief system and education onto us .
we couldn't do anything as we were already enslaved by the islamic rulers and by the time we realised it was happening to us it was already too late .
all of this eventually gave birth to the present education system and here we are with all the divisions in the society........and our bureaucracy which actually has the power to do something is crippled by the British policies regulations and values which still exists under the name of independent India , that I believe is the reason for the rampant corruption .
THIS IS THE POLITICAL ANGLE OF UNDERMINING SANSKRIT I BELIEVE.....now you can connect the dots .

*The Use and Disregard of Sanskrit in the West*
Sanskrit, an ancient language of India, has had a complex relationship with the Western world, characterized by both fascination and neglect. This dynamic can be understood through several key points.
    Historical Context
The study of Sanskrit in the West began in earnest during the 17th century, with significant contributions from scholars like Sir William Jones, who recognized the linguistic connections between Sanskrit, Latin, and Greek. This recognition laid the groundwork for comparative linguistics and the study of Indo-European languages. However, despite its scholarly interest, Sanskrit was often viewed through a colonial lens, which affected its perception and usage.
    Fascination with Sanskrit
Sanskrit has been appreciated in the West for its linguistic richness and its role as the mother tongue of many Indo-European languages. It has contributed numerous words to English, such as "mantra" and "guru," highlighting its influence on Western thought and language. Additionally, Sanskrit texts have been studied for their philosophical and spiritual insights, particularly in the context of Hinduism and Buddhism, which have attracted Western scholars and practitioners alike.
    Disregard and Neglect
Despite this fascination, Sanskrit has also been disregarded in several ways:
Colonial Attitudes: The British colonial period saw a decline in the prestige of Sanskrit as it lost royal patronage and was overshadowed by English and other colonial languages. This shift diminished its role as a living language and reduced its prominence in education and public life.
Selective Scholarship: Western scholarship often focused on select texts that aligned with colonial interests, neglecting the broader spectrum of Sanskrit literature and its diverse cultural contexts. This selective approach contributed to a narrow understanding of the language and its significance.
Cultural Homogenization: The tendency to homogenize India's rich cultural heritage under the umbrella of Sanskrit has led to the marginalization of other languages and traditions within India. This perspective often overlooks the plurality of Indian culture and the various knowledge systems that exist alongside Sanskrit.
    Conclusion
In summary, while Sanskrit has been a subject of interest and admiration in the West, its usage has often been limited by colonial attitudes and selective scholarship. The language's rich heritage and its contributions to global thought continue to be recognized, yet the complexities of its historical treatment reveal a pattern of both engagement and disregard. Understanding this duality is crucial for appreciating the full scope of Sanskrit's impact on Western culture and scholarship.

it is said that these books were manuscripts written on subjects like Medicine, Surgery, Mathematics, Yoga, astronomy, physics, chemistry, literature, Grammar, Music, performing arts like drama, dance, etc, philosophy, warfare, weaponry, and many many more subjects....

    Aavart आवर्त ( Sanskrit ) = cover ( one of several related meanings )
KULYAAVARTA कुल्यावर्त = Cover on a water channel , that is CULVERT .
    So
    KULYAAVARTA ( Sanskrit ) = CULVERT ( English ) !
    Remember ,
Even today 60 - 70 % of words in English owe their origin to Sanskrit .
    Like ,
    Sweda स्वेद ( Sanskrit ) = Sweat
    Mareechika , मरीचिका ( Sanskrit ) = Mirage ( English )
Where in Europe or Steppe will you see a mirage ? But , it is common in North India during summers . This word travelled from India to Europe .

Let me give the simplest example. It’s the word “man”. This word is the short form of the word “manawa” that has been derived from “Manu”, who is the first human in the Indian culture.
There are several kinds of suffixes in Sanskrit that change the meaning of the root words.
“shnya” is such a suffix that turns the meaning of a noun into its offspring. Hence, Manu+shnya= Manawa, which means the son of Manu. Manawa is the Sanskrit word for “man”.

Recently heggarty published research paper on how many thousand of years different language groups separated from each other using statistical models. He, in a way, corroborated what sri kant talegiri has been saying. Kushal mehra from carvaka Podcast discusses this in one of his episodes.
In that podcast, Kushal speaks with Kartik Mohan about the South Russian Homeland debate.

Dr Jeffrey Armstrong is right and Sanskrit the Divine language is the mother of all modern languages. Not many will like it but that's the real truth.

My parents don't allow me to do dhyan because they think I will go away from them in the jungle or to the Himalayas.

Recently i come across a video of a lady teaching Russian and i didn't knew anything about the letters, phonetics, sounds of Russian language. But what i noticed is that the Russian letters pronunciation is similar or sounds like sanskrit, hindi, nepali letters than western languages,it was a surprise and new thing for me.But here in india it is opposite we value english more than our own regional languages or sanskrit which is also a mother of all indian languages. This is bcoz the britishers during their rule changed sanskrit based education system to english based education system, they did this to make indians to forget their own rich civilizational heritage, culture, traditions, language and even sanatana dharma 👀🤔

Every body taking birth on the earth is SANATANI first..
Christian, Muslim, Jew, Parsi etc. later..
    Gift of Nature.. first
    Punishment..later
    Carrier of soul.. first
    Enemy.. later
Remembering 'Dharma' only can save from punishment & enemies of the nature..
