I don't remember a lot of TV and movies from the time firsthand, since they didn't really become interests of mine until the mid-80s, and I was four in 1982. Mostly I remember going to Showbiz Pizza (later Chuck E Cheese) and Six Flags, and I had an ET wading pool. I was also introduced to computers, taking a computer course for little children at a local library. I've had a great love for computers since then. ^_^
Year I graduated high school...great year! I remember grad, prom, hanging out with my friends. Don't know where they are now? Then there was Atari, Joan Jett and the blackhearts, Tony Basil, pool halls and arcades, girls, weed, dances, etc... Movies I thought Porkys was funny at the time. Tv there was JR Ewing, Mash, etc...
I was 10 then too I used to like breaking into empty barns or roaming around abandond factories in my town the rest of the time being a maniac at school.

I tend to agree ' although the 70s were pretty good too ' despite all the economic difficulties ' the music and media eg ' can't say I enjoyed the 90s nearly as much.

I graduated from high school in 1982; 3 weeks later, I met my husband. We married in 1985 and are still together.
I was 4 too young to remember any of this thank goodness for reruns long after these shows were released.
I was 5 with no worries... playing with He-Man toys and riding my bike outside. It was a glorious time.
