I once read a story where this one boy sees a recurring dream where some demonic beasts chase after him and a girl on a grey dark landscape. What lie in front of them are countless sharp edged blades. They can't stop runnier, in fear of the bloodthirsty monsters, groaning and laughing behind them. The boy keeps on running for his life and when he is about to die in the dream he wakes up in the real world, only to find out his feet full of freshly cut wounds and the bedsheet soaked with blood.
He had this dream for a long time, everynight he would see this nightmare. the same thing over and over. This one time he fell down on the ground. But the girl helped him get up, held his hand and said "Don't give up".
Now when he tells this to a psychiatrists, he doesn't believe his story, of course. The doctor gives him medicine for deep sleep. And it worked. He lies in deep slumber, with no more dream.
But the boy stops taking the meds. For he doesn't want to escape the dream. Not alone. Once again in the dreamland he is running. Fleeing and feeling the pain of a thousand cuts. He looks at the girl next to him, and her hair makinf waves in the air. A sign of dread in her eyes. Her blue eyes. He is in love with the girl. He won't let her be alone in this hell. He will share the same pain with the girl in the dream.
For all the nights to come.
Well, he shouts at the girl, "we should keep our shoes on when we go to bed", just as the psychiatrist advised.

I have to admit. I admired the time and effort put into this lyric video. Especially like the time out into the oldern methods such as in the early 80s and before the films use to appear with white marks and just use pop with white marks everywhere. The person who out this together did amazingly especially showing a previous and different era and style which hasn't been fully explored in music. Keep up the great work everyone who is apart do the ATC family

I knew the second singer sounded really familiar, and upon reading the title I knew why!
