° Strawberry Cake °
Ingredients
5 eggs whites ( large size )
100g sugar
5 egg yolks ( large size )
40g milk
100g flour ( cake or all purpose )
40g vegetable oil
200g whipping Crean
50g mascarpone
30g sugar
First separates egg whites and egg yolks
I use large eggs and in room temperature
Add sugar when tiny bubbles come out from the meringue
Add egg yolks
Add milk
Add flour
It’s easier to mix when it’s added in two parts
Add vegetable oil
The size of the cake mold is 32cmx20cm
Bake in 200°C for 17-18 minutes
Remove it forms he told immediately and let it cool
You can also make it into a Swiss roll cake.

I was so happy when I saw you have uploaded a new video, Jen. I have been very anxious these past days but your videos always bring me calm and happiness.. The ways I make my home a happy, peaceful one is by bringing in flowers from my garden, cooking homemade meals and playing music. In the fall and winter I like lighting candles but I don' t do it so much during the summer. I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of the week. Thank you for sharing all these moments with us. 🙏💞

Hi Jen, I was on holiday in Helsinki recently (11th to 14th June) from the UK as part of a tour to the Baltic. I think it's a lovely city and I can understand why everyone makes the most of the long summer days.
The strawberry cake looked absolutely divine! I also had a laugh when i saw you measuring the 100g exactly - a fellow OCDer. Thank you
You make everything look so lovely and inviting. Kiitos. I like to make my home inviting with plants, I think they warm up a room quickly. I try to keep it tidy with comfortable furnishings, enough light, smell of baking, etc. In winter I like to have candles or a diffuser going to make it smell fresh. In summer I like to have simple light snacks available with lots of cool things to drink. And I enjoy having some music playing in the background.

This year we spent the Midsummer week in Helsinki - maybe a little bit inspired by your Videos - and it was my birthday week too… ;) We spent the Juhannus day at Suomenlinna. On the whole island the people had a picknick. There was such a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere… We did some sightseeing and shopping, and enjoyed some cafés and museums. I liked Helsinki so much! Hope I can come back soon!

Hallo, can you share your salmon rice recipe please? It looks delicious!
Hello Suzy, I seasoned the salmon with salt, pepper and some paprika powder. Then bake for 15-20 minutes.
I added some sautéed carrots and zucchinis, I only seasoned them with salt and sesame oil.
Add the cooked salmon on top of rice, add the carrots and zucchini, some salad and kimchi. Drizzle with some crispy chilli oil on top.

I think you should reduce sweet food, it's delicious but not healthy.
