I feel sort of the same way as you, I've been doing spartas for a long time, almost like 7 years. And I agree, making them does lose some of the fun factor of doing them. Other reasons might be lack of time or inspiration. Believe me, I might not have much on my channel, but I've made TONS of spartas from years ago and never got the chance to really finish them. I WANT to finish them, but it's just much harder now. It's awesome to see spartas have evolved this much from just having a simple pattern like the chorus and some early freestyles to becoming actual pieces of music, but honestly it feels a lot more work now if you're trying to keep up to today's styles. It also doesn't really feel the same making them now as it did like 5 years ago because I'm one of the old school spartans. But anyway, you just have to enjoy what do you like to do! If you're bored of spartas, find other creative things to make for your channel like a commentary that you mentioned. What about YTPMVs? I know it sounds like it's just as much work as spartas but I'm just throwing it out. If you like video games, maybe you should start streaming. You just gotta find what interests you. There's tons of hobbies to find around here. I wanna wish you good luck to your future and I'm looking forward to your WALL-E retrospective since it's one of my favorite movies!:) Keep on being awesome dude:)

i'm surprised that you talked about your future channel, but it's pretty much expected at one point as well. i wouldn't see a problem of you moving into different directions from sparta remixes, because if your sparta vids are great, your non-sparta vids will be great as well, if i had to be honest, im plan to take a break when i feel like it because personally there alot of hobby that got some intrerest, such as making a music with videogames soundfonts, you get the idea. now as for the video itself, i don't really have anything to say about it other than it's amazing, you always put something creative into this video that not alot of people can, this might be your best video yet. so yea, as your biggest fan, i would say thank you, not only you inspired me to make great contents, but because you taught me to be a better person as before, sorry for my bad english btw. i wish you luck on whatever you're doing rn, :)

I honestly wouldn't mind if you're going to find some variations in content producing and leave Sparta Remixing a little, I mean after four years It's really getting repetitive and I can personally tell that. I may have improved over the years but Sparta Remixing takes a lot of time to make nowadays due to the variety and creative ideas for one single video. After all this time has past, I still have interest for Sparta Remix. I still want to improve even further. But yeah, this video clearly proves that you have such unbelieveable potenial, even I couldn't make this up. Please keep it up as long as you can!

Theese remixes keep inspiring me somehow but honestly I rarely feel myself wanting to make remix even if I could make them 2x faster with my new setup. Mostly because I want to try new things to get into for longer time (As you can see it's Doom Mapping in my case) Also, honestly I feel nowadays the sparta remix methods are changed (in a good way of course) and I don't think I could compete with them. Also since I nowadays rarely watch stuff that would be a good source for a remix, i don't get ideas easily

it's understandable that after four years of sparta remixing that you'd want to try something else. i'd suggest go with the flow and do those sparta remixes and other content whenever it feels like the time is right. retiring isn't a good option, at least it wasn't in my case. good luck! i won't go anywhere, i'm willing to watch and enjoy the new content you're planning to do.
