Imo the name standard of Lowepro products is very logical and informative. BP stands for Backpack, then comes: capacity, lineup name, feature AW (All weather) and version at the end :) its very helpful when you searching for a specific type of camera bag. The only drawback is when reviewers have to read it :) I would buy this backpack if only it was a little bit smaller. I need a backpack for short weekend trips as my second hand-baggage. I'm looking for a backpack with splited area 50/50, AW, quick side access and smaller size 15-20L so I can put it under the seat on the flight. This backpack has all these features except the size :(
@@antonstolbunov6620 the non pro is just that the "throw everything" compartment has a bigger ratio than the one in the pro (thus making the photo compartment smaller too)
@@guillaumefo and the non-pro is 3.5cm thinner. According to the specs, the pro is 25 L, 31.5 x 23.5 x 54 cm, while the non-pro is 20.5 L, 31.5 x 20 x 54 cm.
I touched on this in some of my videos, but the protactic can only open from the panel on your back. That is not easily accessible. It has more storage, but that storage is very cumbersome to me. Please subscribe if you have not already!

hahaha your review is hilarious. The scratching part is epic already :D I feel you. And picking your camera quickly is so much easier and fun with the fastback. I also put a camera with a 70 200 2.8 in the upper compartment. Easy to bring 2 camera's and lots of lenses.
I think I’m returning my Protactic and get the fastpack. I have a day or two to compare them before the return deadline for the Protactic. Your video has helped me a lot. There is another video that compared both bags (but that was with the previous version of the fastpack). He also ended up keeping the fastpack.

There's a smaller version nowadays: Fastpack BP 250 AW III (without pro)

This is weird. If I need less gear, I take out some dividers and pop in a packing cube.
