Imagine being at Reto's restaurant, ordering a cheeseboard and pizza, and hearing the chef say "Why are all the people sitting alone ordering a pizza and a cheeseboard" and "If anyone has to wait outside, I'm going to die instantly".
I found a good use for the grabber is to take dirty plates off a table. I had a table one space away from the serving window, then the grabber pointing at a wash basin in the kitchen - worked beautifully. Fortunately the grabber doesn't steal meals before the customer can eat them.
Cheese boards don't have to be too difficult if you get the order of operations right. It is: (*Grab, bring to counter and then) Cut apple > grab apple > grab board > grab nuts/cheese.
@@loganshaw4527 technically you have to grab the apple and bring it to a counter before cutting it but after that I think the order I proposed is optimal in terms of interactions/speed
Love the series keep going, im also playing solo and i see some people putting the customers on the "kitchen room" and put their items in the "dining room" because sometimes it has more space than the other.
Could have maybe put something on the grabber to block it? Also upgrading the prep station might have snagged you frozen prep station which allows you to store stuff for next day. Some things have multiple upgrade paths so some rng is involved whether you get what you want.
You could probably have saved that run if you clogged up the grabber to stop it from pulling the pizza out of the oven. You would have to deal with 2 less counter space but It not insta death.
I think someone else mentioned this already, but I wonder if you could have blocked the conveyer somehow to keep the pizza in the oven. Like, put something at the end of the conveyer, and then if necessary put something on the conveyer itself as well. Then since there would be no more room for items perhaps it wouldn't have grabbed the pizza from the oven.
Unfortunate way to go out. One use case I can see for the grabber is having it between the mixer and the tomatoes so that you have an endless stream of sauce.
Lmao 😂🤣🤣😱😵🪦👻 I've never laughed harder during one of your videos than I did with that conveyer belt mishap. Ooooooohhhh man I needed that laugh, thank you indeed. Sucks to go out that way but lesson learned. Keep making great videos.
Love the series! It's so fun to watch you play it. Also, I can't deny that it's very funny when things inevitablely go south Edit: correcting some spelling mistakes.
My heart sank when you put the grabber in, because I noticed it was upgradeable and was like, "Oh no what if it just takes the uncooked pizza out." Sad that killed your run, wish the item's description gave a warning for that because not being able to cook at all due to a slight mistake seems a bit cruel. Let's me know not to take the grabber. Or if I do, it's to send it down the line, like to the mixer, from the veggies.
@@lurkyb0i602 I figured that might be the case but if you’ve not seen the smart grabber before, you might not think it’ll be in there. Like I said, I had a sneaking suspicion when it said “upgradable”. It’s a little silly to assume that it’s intuitive to know what the next item is in the chain without ever coming across it, hence my comment on I feel like that needs to be apart of the description. You shouldn’t be allowed to completely destroy your run, due to never knowing what happens when you upgrade something. Reto likely could have won that run if that interaction didn’t completely prevent him from cooking the pizza.
@Demonic Gaming I agree with you when you say that there should be a warning in the description of the grabber. I have seen some runs end because of this. Something like: this item will pick up any item that is available.
I would think putting the grabber next to the portioner after the slices were cut would be the way to go for that . Maybe the combiner after that to plate the slices ?
If a customer has two orders the first is always guaranteed to be the main dish and if the customer has a second order after that it's guaranteed to be the other dish
When you're learning automation, definitely worth the practice run to make sure it works like you want it to
I said that at the moment lmao
30:40 This is honestly the funniest part of the whole video man hahahahahaha everytime I hear his voice, for me is the character speaking xD
That whole end scene my head was going "Back it up." "Back. It up." "Back it up!" In Squidward's voice.

@@loganshaw4527 my main point was that after cutting the apple, you can assemble to board in your hands and you don't have to use the counter
I feel bad for you, but this is also the hardest I've ever laughed at a gaming video, and loved the chat with the customer at the end

I imagined your face when you realised your mistake with the grabber. I was literally crying out of laugh during this part :'). You made my day !

May have had some concerns when the grabber was put in front of the cooker.
I’m absolutely loving this series, to the point where I’m making sure to comment for the algorithm 💙

That video idea was pretty...
*Cheesy*
*Ba-dum-tsh!
I genuinely laughed out loud with my husband sleeping next to me at the end 😂 🤣
I think the next upgrade after the grabber is a "smart grabber" that you can filter by putting something on it.
Unfortunate way to go out. One use case I can see for the grabber is having it between the mixer and the tomatoes so that you have an endless stream of sauce.

That’s why the smart grabber exists, it’s just like a regular grabber but it has a filter.

This is why you use practice really. This was avoidable

Because the grabber upgrades into an smart grabber.
Showing my support again. My heart sank when Reto bought the grabber because everyone messes it up the first time
Here’s my free comment of support for this series
Love this series!
I heard that dominos was doing budget cuts, but I didn't realise they'd cut down staff to just one person.
I would think putting the grabber next to the portioner after the slices were cut would be the way to go for that . Maybe the combiner after that to plate the slices ?
Glad to see automation can’t take my job yet! Sorry I had to find out at the expense of your restaurant; enjoy eat eat eat reto
The grabber 😂😂😂
Love the game, gladly would want to watch more of it ;) Would also love to see a coop run of this game on your channel!
If u upgrade the prep station, u can store the food for the next day
Awesome game and awesome video as usual 😌
BTW, my heart goes out to you, thats brutal
hillarious pizza stealer xD
The grabber mistake sucks, usually I see it used in combo with regular conveyors to move stuff off of them
The grabber could have been upgraded so maybe it made it better
Move the auto mop inside
upgrade the grbber and it becomes smart grabber that canb set to grab a certain item
based YSAC reference
Great vid, shame about the grabber, live and learn tho!
I think you could have made second pizza an back up the grapper not sure if it would cook then
Support support support
how is retro able to tell what they're ordering? I don't see any indicator for it in the screen until he meets them
If a customer has two orders the first is always guaranteed to be the main dish and if the customer has a second order after that it's guaranteed to be the other dish
The grabber thing would've worked out if you knew how to do it.
(This sounds offensive and I haven't meant it in a offensive way)
