Listened to your Revelation overview. It’s the same old Dispensational/Premill script that’s repeated over and over without any depth along with erroneous interpretation.
You seem sincere of course so I implore you to either Read Gary Demars Last Day Madness and look into his teaching, or actually look up James Jordan’s Teaching on Revelation on Canon Plus. Peter Leithart has a great 7 or 8 part overview that will change your life. Learn all positions quietly, openly, and prayerfully and then see where you land. With all sincerity and kindness of heart I hope you look into these things.
Also read Matthew Henry and John Gills commentary for a good understanding on a historicist overview.

I just feel a need to offer this encouragement to people - when you hear some of these incredible stories, like Isaiah's experiences, it's easy to begin to compare yourself and wish you could have those experiences too, and even feel like there is something wrong if you haven't. Do not do that :) Remember, God is the Lord and He has made every one of us unique and has a path for each of us in His plan. When we hear these wonderful stories let us not become discouraged or resentful, but rather praise God for the way He has revealed Himself to brothers and sisters and, by extension, to the rest of us. If you hear one of these stories and say, "Wow, I wish God would reveal Himself to me like that" - I have good news for you: He has revealed Himself to you through your hearing of the story. The Christian experience of God is not only personal, but corporate - we experience God together as a body. What God has done in the lives of brothers like Isaiah, Josh, and Michael is not only for their blessing, but for yours also.

Agreed! We do not seek an experience of God. We seek to know God. In knowing Him, because of His endless depths, it requires a lifetime of “living” with Christ. Then you can have all the experiences you couldn’t even imagine because you just want Him. And not a moment with Him. Marry the Lord. Don’t just want a one night stand.

In 2010 I was going through the most intense, dark depression I have ever faced. I would see demons in the spirit and be attacked in my sleep. I honestly felt like I was going crazy. One night I cried out to God which I had never had the boldness to do and I just yelled, "Am I ever going to feel normal?? Is this ever going to go away?" At some point I fell asleep and had a super peaceful sleep. But as I woke up the next morning, I heard music...and I heard a loud voice say, "some prayers I'll answer right away, and some are going to take perseverance. This is one of them. Now get up." It came with peace and the love of father basically saying...I am with you, but you have to get up and keep going. Things didn't change overnight but after that I absolutely knew He was real and with me. So those who say experiences don't matter, I'd challenge you that God wants a relationship with you and He is not in a box. I have dreams and that's how He speaks to me...some are clear and some are riddles. We definitely should take everything to the Lord and His Word, but do not dismiss the way He speaks to us today! I now know my authority in Christ and my identity and have such a passion for people to get free from mental and spiritual torment. God will use your biggest battles to do a work through you and be able to minister to others!

Man this is awesome! I had a dream of taking Communion in a room for of altars and various religions and their worshipers. I asked no questions and regarded no one and just took communion. The dream changed and I was in a vehicle with a friend and we rode off a levvee into the water but I didn't fear death. I was at peace because I had taken communion. 2 weeks later the same friend in the dream who went into the water with me, baptized me.
I've also received two prophetic words from independent people about going to the mission field among the nations. We've prayed and fasted about how, when, and to where. But God hasn't revealed it. So I can definitely affirm he does speak in various ways, but he doesn't give us everything at once. I think this helps us to remain faithful and to trust him. So in the mean time, my wife and I work on making disciples here and growing in the local church context!

I have told my son things God told me and he said I was crazy. Then one day he felt an urging to walk his trail through his woods. He took his gun with him as is his habit. Just down the hill from his house, in the woods, he found a shelter someone tried to build out of branches, and soda cans strewn around. He also found a man’s jacket with a driver’s license in it. (This was not far from where his kids play) He called the police and they verified it was a homeless man in the area that had mental problems. They found the man and put him in jail because he wouldn’t go to a shelter. I hope now my son sees that God speaks in different ways.

In my humble opinion I think it's wiser for new Christians to dig into God's written Word to get wisdom, to understand the plain teachings of Jesus prior to seeking Him for visions and dreams. Wouldn't the Lord just add those things if He sees fit? At least once we know God's Word we'll be in the best position for testing whether the dreams and visions we have are genuinely from God or our imagination.

This is great and needed!! I cannot believe how many in the "reformed" camp think God ONLY speaks to His people in the written Word and nothing more. It's honestly so sad.
The Word is primary but God can give futher instruction that lines up to the written Word and it has nothing to do with an audible voice. You have to do some hard work to make the Biblical case otherwise, and I think that is one of the most extreme cases of cessationism.

    • @ifehansson2254
      @ifehansson2254 ปีที่แล้ว

There is nothing wrong with depending on Scripture alone being that it is inspired by the Holy Spirit Himself. There is a reason why the Charismatic movement is full of false teachers, false teachings & false prophecies. At best they have put personal experience above Scripture or they are flat out lying.

    • @BEABEREAN10
      @BEABEREAN10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@ifehansson2254 I'm not sure I agree. The Bible doesn't instruct you on what job to take or where to live as part of His sovereign purposes. The bible doesn't tell you when there is danger ahead that you couldn't know otherwise. The Bible doesn't tell you if a tv show is good for you or not. In fact, the Bible doesn't even tell us if we should be using phones, tvs, cars or electricity. Some things can only be known by following the voice of God in your life. And it should be judged against Bible principles.
The problem with those false prophets is that they are "prophecying" for their own gain, but just because some use it for evil, doesn't make it invalid for everyone.

One of the test I apply to hearing God's voice is is it something that I would do/want to do? If it isn't, its very likely from the Lord because His word says, His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are not our ways. It's pretty safe to say that God won't generally do things and say things within our expectation of how He would respond.

To hear y’all speak of hearing God or other experiences of a spiritual nature is of value inexpressible.
I didn’t know to speak to my pastor about how powerful my conversion was (in fact you DONT talk about things out of the norm) I just knew I wanted to be baptized as a man in the desert wants water. Bugged him for days that there is a river two miles down the road…
I did not know to go to my church leaders when I had a vision experience, I trudged that road alone. (Still do) When I was having sudden trouble in my marriage I did go to them to tell them and explain best I could. I got prayer. I went also to the AG where they knew me as well and told them about it even telling them the more off the wall things, like, I can see a demon in the spirit, what do I do? But that leader was more excited that I “saw them too” rather than even being equipped themselves to tell me what to do about it!!

As a follower of Jesus, I read the scriptures and have shared the Gospel in my high school, college and in poetry performances.
I’ve never audibly heard the voice of God.
It’s discouraging when I hear he has and how he’s done tremendous things within just a few years. His charisma and very enthusiastic approach is not my approach. I’m pretty poised and mellow. I hope that isn’t a negative sign. But I guess Isaiah is just different. Idk 🤷‍♂️. I hope this isn’t a front or a facade but when I hear the spirit or hear the word of God is usually when I read the scriptures.

Different for all of us, remember during the days of Nehemiah and Ezra, God was at work but He didnt speak to them with an audible voice but was moving events in their favor. With Elijah it was a still small voice. With the Disciples they had God in the flesh talking with them and at the baptism of Jesus/Yeshua, all heard the voice of the Father, but with that said, when we read the word of God in the holy bible we do hear the word of the Lord, dont feel discouraged.

  • @marisademore468

Mmm ... But 1 Corin 14:3 says that when we prophesy we speak words of comfort, exhortation and edification so surely we also prophesy when we share a testimony which glorifies Jesus (e.g. some way in which He blessed or helped us this week) or when we encourage others through the Scriptures. The inference of Rev19:10 is that when we testify of Jesus we can only do so through the Spirit of prophecy. I'm from a Pentecostal background so I'm just wondering if your view of prophecy is shaped somewhat by your background? I'm not saying that's right or wrong ... Just maybe that prophesying is 'simpler' than we realise? Every Christian is invited to prophesy one by one - Paul doesn't say young Christians can't ( 1 Corin 14:31); and we're all called to judge the prophecies (1 Corin 14:29) which means that whatever is spoken must be testable against God's written Word, since that is our yardstick for measuring what's of God and what isn't. Hence, prophecies must surely on the whole consist of Scriptural truths which comfort, exhort and edify which surely means prophecy can include a simple explanation of something from the Scriptures, given to others to build them up? Corrections warmly accepted.

Reading Nee’s book “The Normal Christian Life” I finally met the real living Jesus after many years of seeking sitting under cessationist and consumer christianity. Fear kept me there. I couldn’t or otherwise wouldn’t hear Truth but I trusted Hank.
Remnant Radio, in the same way, led me to Isaiah, as I am working with God to tear out strongholds. I would NOT have listened to Isaiah otherwise. You had already given Isaiah a green flag and after that I was shown by the Lord the reality of being demonized myself, I had a place to seek help. Remnant got me there. I’m not completely free yet but I can “turn” to the Lord inside again now and I don’t wake up smelling rebellion. It means that I can now function in the spirit again.

Honest question for those who say God only speaks through his written Word. How do you know it is or is not sinful to drive a car? To use electricity? To watch TV or movies? To use a computer or phone? Because it seems you say if God hasn't expressly said it writing, then it is wrong and sin? Is that Right? Again, honest question.

Great to hear his story. He even broken the principle about God not speaking about marriage and babies thats a standard amongst Prophets. Id caution anyone using his testimony to seek a wife or husband, or even about singleness or getting married. The scripture (1 Corinthians 7) is clear, singleness or marriage is a choice open to believers .. it's not something God will tell you. As far as marrying a particular person by name there is far too much emotion to discern God's voice. God's aim is to make us responsible for our decisions. God's often will tell you not to marry someone.
He can be thankful God was gracious to him, but it's not a example to follow.
We always need test what he hear against the written word. That's not quenching the Spirit not doubting. God has a way of acting sovereignly anyway. We don't need to get instructions for every move.

I don't think that Paul and Peter asking the body to consider their words as words from God should be applied in general to what leaders and preachers, as a category, say today. There is a wide range of maturity and humility found among leaders and preachers today. Folks could really get harmed and thrown off course by putting too much value in what some leaders and preachers say. And some preachers actually try to control people with their words. At the same time, there are lots of humble leaders who love Jesus with all their hearts who we should listen to. I'm all in on the statement, "God speaks through people." I'm not saying that these.experiences are absolutely untrue, however, when we build a case for our personal experiences in order to "prove" how God speaks, we miss Paul's point in 2 Cor 12:1 where he says there's "nothing to be gained" from these things. Also in vs 6 he refrains from boasting in his vision in order not to cause others to "think more of him" than they should.
We run the risk of communicating that dreams and visions are attainable by all and if they aren't being attained then, as Isaiah said, we aren't pursuing them enough, or believing in them enough.
It's never promised that dreams, visions, trance etc are a part of the normal Christian life... not every Muslim will have a dream and be converted, not every sinner at the alter will hear a voice in their ear. We need to endeavor to continue preaching, evangelizing and discipling from the place of faith which comes by hearing the Word of God, as 1 Peter 1:8 says, "though you have not seen Him, though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him"...... and if God so chooses to grant you a dream or vision or trance (which are evident in scripture), be cautious to speak about it, be weary of building a boast in it and possibly minimizing the simple saving grace of God through faith alone for the sake of spectacle.

If you’re confusing the flock with works based righteousness you may very well have heard voices… what’s great about God speaking to us through scripture is that we can rule out psychological issues or demonic influence.
What’s interesting about Isaiah’s testimony is that with regard to his personal testimony he describes being first justified and then the fruit that follows… or this external righteousness that comes to Him while he is in sin and rebellion and then a marked change. I wish he would preach like THAT… instead of telling Christians they need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and go to work.

Anecdotal testimonies such as heard in this episode should not be seen as evidence that God speaks to our spirit. The only solid evidence we have of God "speaking" to us are the very written words of Scripture, nothing more, nothing less. @chrisclayton2614 ปีที่แล้ว

@Zraebiel I know my comment is late given you made yours 8 months ago but your interpretation of judging is incorrect. Yes, we are supposed to judge other believers in the sense that we point out their sin (in a loving way). However, you are twisting that to mean we should judge Isaiah because him stating he never cussed again after his salvation cannot be true. You can't judge what you don't know. If you actually had heard him cuss, then you could properly call him out on it. But you are literally judging based off your own feelings of what you believe to be true. You should instead praise God because the Lord delivered him from that particular sin.
Plenty of people get radically set free and never do the sinful things they did before. Would you question someone addicted to drugs who got saved and never struggled with them again? Why is that the one thing you point out as impossible when he said he was set free from a multitude of things?
What seems more likely is you personally struggle with cursing (or at least feel bad that you do it) and in order to justify this struggle, you are imposing on others your own difficulty. After I was saved, I didn't even think in curse words for a very long time. I unfortunately did eventually curse (not as a habit but some one offs) but I could easily see how someone could resist that particular sin.
Be careful that when we judge, we are judging through a clear lens. The whole point of Jesus saying to not judge or else you will be judged is to make sure we are judging another believer with a clear conscience and that we aren't doing the same things as them. If I don't struggle with adultery, then I can clearly point out to a brother in christ that him messing with another woman while married is wrong. I can properly call him out on it (in love). However, if I don't know the man and just presume he is committing adultery because it doesn't seem possible to not be tempted with that sin, then I sin when I condemn him for something I have no knowledge of.
