For over 20 YEARS, friends told me about Jesus. Others said, "Do you want to be saved? "

I'm a gentile who lost my spouse suddenly and lost my faith. While surfing tv I came across a program being aired by a Messianic Rabbi. Curiosity got the best of me and watched it. I was surprised that he was teaching about Jesus being the Messiah. I have been watching him ever since. I have to admit I've been learning a lot not only about how in the Tanakh, that Messiah, will come & in the New Testament, who he is and that he came and died for all of us. We Christians tend to forget that Jesus was born Jewish. I have to admit as a Christian I have learned a lot through this gentleman's teachings. I pray that God forgives me for doubting his love. I started reading through the whole Bible starting with Genesis. The lesson is we are all children of God and can learn from each other. God loves us and gave his Son to die for our salvation. What is illustrated here is just how our thinking can effect our lives. A man trained to think that Jesus was of no consequence by others in his culture believed them and as a consequence missed out on valuable teaching only available through that teaching...but when Jesus did speak to him his life changed. What this might suggest to a scientist is that it is the pattern of our thinking that controls our health, just as reflected by the general, global population, whose health reflects their thoughts as they limp confused, and suffering through life, living by thought patterns that are far from healthy.

Totally correct. The NT is a Jewish book. Written by Jews
There is no separation between the alleged 2 religions Christians and Judaism is 2 arms of same religion. Both are waiting for The Messiah to come. Jews just miss His first coming. No worries He will come back when the world is ready.
Can you consider that Yeshua is the God of the Testament. He is the Son of God, and under His Father’s direction, He is the God of this world. He was that God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!
He cannot be in the Tanak if he is not in the Torah.

For absolutely no reason to be dragged to places of interrogation, their belongings confiscated, horribly treated and unfairly. We can reach to more recent events but the last 2000 years were the worst for G-d's children, the church and all Christian denominations participating in the elimination of the Jewish people. The Nations, ( Goyim) and their evils, malicious acts, vile intentions, unlimited hate exposing their most heinous actions where a small demonstration of their capability to cause the worst of imaginable harm. That's how their sins were exposed and the Servant of HaShem, Israel, Jacob had to take it all, quietly, no guile, left with no place to live, no place to die, millions upon millions all in the name of Jesus or as they call him now, Yeshua, the false prophet and foolish shepherd in Zechariah, the glutton and drunkard Deuteronomy 21:18-23, illegitimate son of Mary John 8:41, 48.
An obscure or questionable text must need reference in a prior mention or event, it ought not be a new thing but in the flow and ebb in the same direction as the Torah. Throwing in an idea or claim that's off completely is not Kosher, not consistent with the whole.
And to think that one must " eat the body and drink the blood"
Hebrews 10:5b “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me;
6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings
you were not pleased.
7 Then I said, ‘Here I am-it is written about me in the scroll-
I have come to do your will, my God.’”[a]
Compare it to the original Hebrew text:
Psalm 40:6
Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
This is a tiny example of the Christian New testament.

In a video made in Jerusalem by Jews for Jesus, an Israeli Jew explains that Jews are told not to read Isaiah 53 and that many editions of the Tanakh (the Old Testament) available in Israel simply omit those verses altogether!
