  • I acquired the tractor at the Lawn and Garden Tractor Extravaganza show in Evansville, IN. Got it going and never did anything with it for years until the tiller came together. After a year or more of sitting, I threw a battery and hit the key, started up like brand new! The tiller I bought off a friend of mine that does a lot of trading around. It sat for a year or two also. It was in pieces when I bought it, and couldn’t find any documentation until I came across some on ccspecialties.com. Finally on my new property we decided to grow a garden and it gave me a reason to dig it out of the corner. The gearbox had been sitting open for a while and dirt and other trash gathered inside of it. I cleaned it all out and filled with Valvoline Crimson grease and sealed it up. I took the tractor and tiller to rural king, bought some belts, tried them on in the parking lot, kept the one that fit (1/2x53), and took back the rest. I measured the long PTO belt with 2 shorter belts that I cut and fastened together. I measured where they overlapped and took the number to eBay. Bought a size bigger, and smaller as well. The smaller one (1/2x151) worked well and wound up eating the belt that I thought was the correct one. I started by plowing a rows as wide as the tiller and stair stepping the depth when I tilled. This worked great and hope to use it for the years to come! Comment for any information you’d like to know!

They're out there, but you'll probably have to buy them separately. It may even be cheaper that way, I have under $400 in the 682 and tiller. I recently got another tiller in an auction for $12.
