i rode in a newer E4500 from Boise to logan, i think it has like 617K miles on it, it can do 80 pretty well, comfortable, rides super smooth. good buses.

I'd be gutting it and making a motor coach out of it. 300,000 miles is nothing compared to some of the over the road trucks people buy and convert over to private coach's to pull their big luxury 5th wheels with. Those have like 6, 7, 800,000 miles on em. so in comparison these motors arn't even broke in yet, that 60 serier Detroit is an animal, I had one of those in a semi truck I drove and it had great pulling power going over the mountains!!!!
