If a person is unconscious but is breathing and has no other life-threatening conditions, they should be placed in the recovery position.
Putting someone in the recovery position will keep their airway clear and open. It also ensures that any vomit or fluid won't cause them to choke.

What if the casualty has a head injury but is vomiting? Is it too risky to tilt their head to the side to place them in the recovery position?

Jason Zingapan if they are vomiting they must be put in recovery position or else they will choke and die and also it’s important to maintain their airway so they can breathe it doesn’t matter if they are injured saving a life is more important. Breathing is the priority so always put them in a recovery position
