I had this. No doctors knew what was happening. I broke my foot at 37 weeks pregnant in my Obs office. And has all sorts of breaks, pain and issues for the next 3-4 years. Its so traumatic and overwhelming. I am sorry this happened to you, but also so nice to hear someone else share such a similar journey. I now educate my doctors. My bone density was -4.1 I found out 4 months postpartum.
I missed Lucy Rose so much, feel in love with her since Used to Be and was thinking that she did take a break to be with her family, but did not know she was sick, I am so glad to see her back. Hope she is quite better now.
I just left the hospital with this rare diagnosis. Had severe backpain for weeks and basically diagnosed myself. Nobody seemed to listen nor doing any research on why a healthy young mother would break her back multiple times. I broke down three times because of five broken vetebraes in my spine. It is so scary and painful and gets out of control very quickly. Everything turned upside down. I loved breastfeeding my baby and had to stop instantly. As a mother I was the most important person for my baby. Now I feel like the most useless person to him, as I am not even allowed to lift him up and am unable to take care of myself. It is an awful condition and I dont wish it on any pregnant woman or young mother. (Sorry for my English, I‘m not a native speaker).
As a fellow pregnancy associated osteoporosis mum, whilst I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, I’m thrilled it’s brought me to Lucy’s music!
