Cool but what happened to Fade? It doesn’t sound the same at all whatsoever
Explanation: While both tracks have the same chord progression in their original forms, the chords change every 4 beats in Fade but every 2 beats in Popsicle. To mitigate this problem, the last 2 beats for each chord in Fade are removed so that the chords of both tracks change at the same rate, a condition necessary for producing these types of mashups. Fade's melody is mostly repeating notes, so the melody is only slightly altered by the removal of the last 2 beats.
Hope this helps!
@@JWheadset cool thanks
However, it could go Bb D G F D D A A instead of Bb Bb G G D D A A
Oh ywah I realized this is transposed up 2 whole steps from F# major for Fade
So yeah that’s just to math the same key as LFZ popsicle
@@nabranestwistypuzzler7019 I do completely agree that Bb-D-G-F-D-D-A-A fits a whole lot better as it’s fully representative of the melody as a whole, so the person who made this mashup should have removed the first two beats per chord rather than the last two beats so that those notes are preserved, something I would have done myself if I made a mashup with Fade. Also, Fade’s key is actually D# minor and not F# major, but I understand the confusion!
