Great army list. Would have been good for Albion to have had a beserk option as well. The fanatic type, berserker troops were actually a pretty common troop type in Western Europe from antiquity to the Dark Ages. Albions lads would have much the same stats, but less armour. One idea might simply be to pay points for ogres and use beserk models.

Love the videos, keep them coming! Also maybe a video on companies and 3D creators to find minis would be super helpful :-)

Nice to see on a non-chaos version of the norse.
Unfortunalty this fan-made, becoming "official" represent the main problem when people try to make new army for warhammer.
They are all human based, and some of them don't even have a lot of fantasy element, like the Estalia army from Warhammer project who only one fantasy units, fire bulls, and it's not even based on a spanish myth.
Honestly I hope CA and GW will not make the same mistake when they start to expand the roster of Total War Warhammer 3and do some non human faction.
I would love to see a Naga army !

Yes I think sometimes you need to embrace the fantasy. The nippon and cathay warmaster lists do have fantasy elements but it will be interesting to see what GW and CA decide to put in their total war armies.

Would love to see a rework of Cathay and Nippon with more fantasy elements. I hope after warhammer total war 3 someone does a rework

To be fair, the official GW human races like "The Empire" or "Bretonnia" are filled with even less fantasy aspects as this fanmade "Norsca" list. But i agree with you overall. Every second race is a good/bad reskin of humans, elves or dwarfs. While i like every new addition and the aspect that you can play as different kinds of elves, there is not any "eye catching" new race that catches you of guard like "Wow, Nagas/Mummys/Anubites" Most interesting fantasy units just get squeezed into other factions, like the Fimir got thrown into Norsca.

@@buttersstotch172 Well I don't mind hybrid faction, human are supposed to be the most numerous faction, I dislike fan-made faction where the only fantasy units, like the Estalia/South Realm faction.
At least the empire not only have the demygryph, but you can count the Steam Tank has a fantasy units and with Total War the Bretonnian have non longer just a single fantasy units but three, even one it's just an upgrade version.
I can understand that prior internet it was kind of difficult to do research on myth and foklore from non Greek-Nordic culture, that explain the very steréotypical, and a little insulting way, earstern faction were depicted in earlier édition of Warhammer.
But now not only their wikipedia, Tv trop and a lot of specialize website on this topic, heck now you can try to contact an inhabitant of this culture and ask him question aboot it!
I hope that when CA and GW have finish the base race for TWW3 they will do something unique with less well know myth.

Norse in Oldhammer was a bunch of smaller tribes living in small settlements around the coasts. Imperial traders think they are unpredictable. It's not always easy to tell a traditional tribe apart from one that has fallen to Chaos. The same tribe that can happily trade if you stop by can show up as raiders later on. Norsca is not part of the Chaos Wastes, but it is close enough to make it hard for anything but small tribes hiding arund in fjords. Norsca is not strong and united enough to make a buffer against Chaos the same way Kislev does.
The norse were fun because they went around a lot. You could always plonk down a norse colony or expedition along the coast. Lustria has a norse colony, if you want to make vikings fight aztec lizards.

i would view them as an army of near mythical norscans who do not follow chaos.

Too bad that the Norse don't get Elves and Dwarves too. They are of Norse mythology, and the High Elf Army roster would be handy.

Its a shame. I loved norsa in total war Warhammer. But it seems they are poorly represented in warmaster. With magic and monster choice beeing a downer. And some units not good to take at all. :(
