And merely saying two artists are different is not the same as comparing them or saying they're comparable. To say this guy and Skrillex are comparable would mean to say they're making similar music. My point is that they're not.

I really disagree with that crayon analogy. Instead of painting a picture with the "original eight colors" I think HudMo's sound is closer to having the image of exactly what he wants to paint but not being satisfied with any of the standard colors, therefore causing him to melt the crayons, mix the colors to his liking, and creating exactly what he had originally imagined without regard to what is considered popular, or even normal.
I loved this album though the clunky ,weird, wonky vibe I get his from his music is what makes it so compelling and not having a specific audience becomes irrelevant in how well he executes being hudson mohawke. Cbat has me imagining a jester getting on an mpc and laying down a hard track with generic snares and claps you'd think you would hear in a new boyz song and I love it because I feel he does it right. This EP just makes me want more HudMo :/

It gives people a way of finding new music they didn't know about, and seeing what some else's opinion of something may be. There is a lot of stuff, that reviewers like Anthony and Dead End Hip Hop put me on to...that I didn't know about(in metal, indie rock, Hip Hop, Jazz, Blues, or whatever).
