    This is the FIRST real video I've seen that someone shows HOW to make things by they're own from ZERO to 100. CONGRATULATIONS, for your creativity, for your kindness, for your showing HOW TO MAKE SOMETHING WITHOUT MONEY. Every now and then I see people showing really unafordable materials; and that's really dissapoiting to someone who's starting in this incredible universe of recycling papers. I LOVE ALL YOU'VE SHOWN, your 3 videos are just AWESOME, and better; your kindly have shared them to us in your page. Again, TYSM and I hope you have ALL THE SUCCESS 🥰❤❤❤❤

      You left me such a beautiful comment, thank you so much! I really appreciate you saying all this. A few years ago, when I was starting my junk journal journey I used to get so disappointed too, and all because I didn't have all the tools and supplies. When you think about it, we can do so much with just basic stuff, that is available to most of us, and have fun and enjoy the creative process. That's what it's all about. ❤️❤️❤️

      Also, watch Treasure Books. She never uses printables. I love Natasa too. She also has a really amazing back story, having been a refugee from Croatia to Australia as a little girl. She has a video about this and how her love of paper began. She's actually the sole reason why I make journals and anything useful with paper. 🥰

    Over the years, I`ve watched so many crafters, and yet, you are the first I`ve seen who doesn`t use a Crop-A-Dile. I`m so glad that I don`t need to buy it because it`s so expensive. I like your tool so much more. It`s light and small, and you achieve the same result.
    I love how you do things. I`m not a journaler, but I loved watching your creative process.
    Thank you very much for the inspiration❤

      Thank you so much for the kind comment. I really appreciate it. ❤️😊
      That small tool I use works really well on the eyelets and it's light in hand, easy to use. I have a Crop-A-Dile, but I use it rarely, only if I have to punch a hole through many layers of fabric and card stock, it's great for that. I used different tools for that in the past and to be honest, I'd rather if I spent the money on something else. The Crop-A-Dile is good, but not worth the money I paid for it, because I don't use it often.

      With this comment, you are confirming what I`ve been thinking throughout the years. I just didn`t know what other tool to buy. It so happens that I found one like yours among my father`s tools.
      Thank you for taking the time to reply❤
      Friendly greetings from Slovenia 😊

    This is what junk journaling was originally meant to be, using junk mail or other materials that would have been discarded as "junk" but can become beautiful and economical craft materials. Enjoyed watching!

      I’m really glad you enjoyed this! It was so much fun for me, too! Any excuse to get art supplies out and make some colorful mess is welcome and what better way to play than with recycled materials. 😀

      I agree. I don't care for ephemra that is made from purchased papers that are e simply cut out & pasted onto card stock. Might as well just buy someone else's journal. It's not creative, and lots of people have the same art.

    Thanks for publishing the timestamps for all the wonderful junk journal parts you are showing the process of making (speeds up note taking and I am sure I am not the only one studying here). 12:47 The 4x6 stamp you created is awesome, I will try to recreate it for myself. Also this gives me an idea that I should order extra stamping blooks, pre-assemble stamp compositions (most frequently used) and just keep the stamps that way, pre-assembled. This will facilitate start of a process during slow times (when there is a desire to be productive but not enough inspiration for a cool art). 22:17 The index card dividers with tabs and charms are envious, one will want to start a new recipe box just for an opportunity to use them. 36:36 This exact spot gave me an idea to create a lot of funky and whimsical framed windows for BD and Christmas wishes to be presented in pockets in cards. So gonna do that!

It's a great saving too, as these can be quite expensive when purchasing them already made. Plus your personal touch makes a lot of difference. Take care, and have a lovely weekend. 😊❤xx

    It's absolutely fascinating to watch you cut up those decorated bits. How creative! Since I give away all the journals I make at Little Free Libraries and other free spots, I really love how you reuse what others would consider junk. I usually use packaging only for the backing but that's surely going to change after watching this series. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to other possibilities. (Oooo, do you have a vid how you cut up other stamps to make a custom stamp as you did to the postcard one? Very ingenious!)

      I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. Oh, I know what you mean. I discarded a lot of old and damaged books, documents, postcards, letters, magazines and such a few years ago. A few months after that I got into junk journaling. I still get upset when I think about it 🤣🤣🤣

    Hello DRagana what a beautiful video triptych! I love when recycled materials are used, paper, paint, within everyone's reach. Many materials for scrapbooking and junkjournaling are expensive and you need a lot of them....sometimes it seems like you never have enough to achieve certain results...or so it can seem watching many videos. I love when people help us make beautiful things and develop creativity using simple and seemingly poor materials. For this I thank you and I appreciate your ability to offer tutorials that enable everyone to produce something nice and appreciable using what they have and helping us step by step in the realization. One question, if I may. When you cut the various packaging to make them into postcards, index cards, tags, etc., do you follow standard measurements? do you let yourself be inspired by the shape of the cardboard? What are the index card, tag, postcard sizes you recommend and which can then be used in most journal formats? Thanks for your reply and congratulations on your teaching ability. Send love⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘

    • @Saacibo
      @Saacibo  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm so glad you are enjoying the recycling videos! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comments. To answer your questions: I try to make postcards 6x4 inches. I make index cards a bit smaller but I don't really have the size that I stick to, usually 3.5 x 5 or something like that. With tags I do whatever looks good. Hope this helps 😊❤️

    I love that you use your ink pad to ink the edges. I never understood why people think you need dobbers to edge their cards. Do you put these under books to make them flat? I was just wondering if they fold up or curve up at the seams? I have read the comments. I don't think there is much more I can say other than "ditto!!" ❤❤

    • @Saacibo
      @Saacibo  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh, I actually don’t like the sound those daubers make, and it’s actually much faster and more efficient this way. For soft applications I like to use those make up brushes rather than daubers. I place cards under books to flatten them more. Thank you so much for watching and commenting😊❤️

    Love your style and creativity! Can I make a suggestion about your camera? Is it at all possible to have it zoomed in more? Although I love the overview of your desk and all the items, I find it difficult to see what you are doing exactly. It would really help if you would consider filming just a little more zoomed in on your hands and the project at hand. Thanks so much for sharing❤
