Jamie- This is the best guitar lesson EVER! I mean EVER. Thank you. Thank you for making me laugh out loud, sharing mistakes(!!), all while teaching me open G, Travis picking, scales. Your fellow introvert is now a friend for life, but don't worry I won't call
Great job! I really enjoyed your class this week at Swannanoa. It really exposed my need for a metronome. I am good to attempt to add mindfulness to my practice.
You are so perfectly quirky and fun! Thank you for this... It's nice to see such a different yet effective teaching style on these tubes we call "the interwebs".
I am reminded of Glen Gould who used to hum what he was playing much to the engineer's dismay. I count, hum, kinda whistle, anything to keep me on time and in tone.
Like the course title AND the 2 finger chords. Open G is great for Irish music. My Dad taught me Eat A Darn Good Breakfast Early. Nice Santa Cruz guitar. Thanks.
At the risk of commenting twice in a row, (two months apart), I dare say, that I ask for myself and many-many others, when I say: "WHEN'S THE NEXT GUITAR FOR INTROVERTS LESSON?!" ...I mean, it's just that this one's so friggin awesome, and a bunch of us have MASTERED it... (Not me... I'm still working on it), but we--(I mean, "I"), just wanted to know if you've got another one in the works? Is it like one lesson a year? (That'd be fine btw... We're just curious--or I am--and, I assume there's a "we", cuz you're awesome and stuff)... Ok. Ok that's enough. (oh S.B. How embarrassing), and now I'm pressing send right now. (Ah well.)
Will you marry me? This is how introverts propose! Kidding, I'm happily married for 40 years. Great lesson, Jamie. I always enjoy your work and playing! Thank you.
Nourishing mnemonic: "Eat A Darn Good Breakfast Every Day." I shall. Thanks. Remember, when thinking about The Circle of Fifths: Fun Cats Get Down (Dinner?) At Eddy's Bar Fridays.

I love everything about this video - from start to finish! I love the pace.
Just superb. Educational and funny, the best way to learn. Thanks, Jamie.
I saw that headstock and knew I was in the right place😌 great stuff
Wow that video is actually amazing. So is your playing.
This is a refreshing departure from the standard TH-cam guitar lesson videos. Great job 👍
"Just enjoy the sound of guitar."
This is going to be a good series

Awesome, love it! Thank you so much!
I’m going to use that advice about mistakes and apply it to my last 5 days at work. I made so many mistakes at work. Thanks Jamie! ❤️
LOVE this. I am finally getting my lesson in open tuning : )
lovely delivery and guitar tone. You've got a new subscriber
Late pass, but this is awesome! As an ambient guitar electric/fingerstyle acoustic guy, guitar for introverts is right up my alley.
Love it!
this is the content i NEED. i hope Birdie will get more screen time later in the season.
Been wanting to explore open tuning for a long time now - thanks for making it inviting, gentle and relaxing 🙂 (a.k.a. not intimidating!).
Isn't it about time for this year's installment of Guitar for Introverts? :>)
Is there going to be a Lesson 2?
I’ve been listening to Ana Vidovic, Jimi Hendrix, Coltrane, and Stillway lately.

Here's the real deal folks!
Is this going to be an annual event?
Birdie!
thanks for the sharing this!
xo
Good little lesson but not actual Travis picking. See Merle Travis or Chet Atkins for this style.
TOO MUCH HASSLE.......
Nice lesson. Thank you.
