I like how you move the camera in close to show how you measured the neckline. I also appreciate how thoroughly you explained each step of this tutorial. Thank you for sharing.
Honestly, I give kudos to you ,you are so detailed, bringing your camera closer really got me glued to your channel as this is my very first time with you.God bless you immensely, can't wait for more teachings from you.once again I'm grateful.
Yes I do understand. If you're not , then There's no need to have a center front or center back to join. Just do yours on the open end. I hope you understand?
I'm sorry, I meant the front the neckline, if I'm not going to have a slit, I'm going to use the other end that you used for shoulder instead of the opened side right?
Wooooow thanks.. please help me how did you do the front slit...did you just slit it up to 7inches or 8. Hope you understand my question..I mean how to achieve the slit.... should I just slit it with scissors

If you are not inputting a slit infront, do u have to start your measurements at the open side or the folded side? I hope you understand my question
Yes I do understand. If you're not , then There's no need to have a center front or center back to join. Just do yours on the open end. I hope you understand?
@@joyee33 where u started ur measurements was from the open end. Do u mean to start it on the folded part which is the opposite side?
@@lindaogundare1631 yes, your sleeve opening should be on the open end.
Please if I'm not going to have a slit, do I need to open the shoulders? Like, do I need to cut the shoulder open, to get joining?
The slit has nothing to do with the shoulder. Maybe I don't understand the question.
I'm sorry, I meant the front the neckline, if I'm not going to have a slit, I'm going to use the other end that you used for shoulder instead of the opened side right?
Yes if you don’t want a slit in front use the closed end for your neckline cutting and the open end for your sleeve
Thanks sis for this Detail Video.may god Continue to bless your Handwerk.
Amen. Thank you too for watching.😘
Wooooow thanks.. please help me how did you do the front slit...did you just slit it up to 7inches or 8. Hope you understand my question..I mean how to achieve the slit.... should I just slit it with scissors
I don't understand the question. Can you please rephrase?
After folding, the slit side is open. So she left 18 inches for the slit and will join the remaining upper side by half inch
@@joyee33 I mean how to achieve the front slit with lining
jointhe lining , join the main fabric separately. Then use the lining to turn the main fabric
🥰🥰🥰
🤗🤍
Apart from sequence which material can I use for this front design
Aso oke or crepe.
If am using aso oke do I need to add interfacing please?
Not necessary since aso oke is stiff.

You're welcome 🤍
My long gown length is 56,and my hip is 36 ,so hope 4 yards Is not too much for me to sew this
Ankara comes in 45" length, that's why I folded it like I did because the full length I used is more than 45.
Are you cutting from the front or the back of the ankara fabric? Both sides in your tutorial are looking the same to me
The back. It's high quality Ankara, the back and front almost look same .
Nice one
Thank you.
