Which notebook color design do you like for next year? How do you go about planning for your planner or bullet journal? Mind map, lists, bullet points?
I really lke the green. I received a digital e-ink tablet for Christmas and I'm thinking about how to do the planner and export it into One Note or vis versa so I can use both the tablet and my computer? I will welcome and comments.
@@kmdeland1 I have not used a e-ink tablet. You should let me know how it works for you. I like creating my planner in OneNote so it is functional meaning I can write in the table cells. I am able to sync it between my iPad, phone and laptop because I store things in the cloud. I hope this helps. Have fun creating something that works for you!☺
I think your idea is a great one. We will see how busy life gets in 2025! I was also thinking about a seasonal color. So many choices!! Happy New Year to you as well!!!🥰
You got it! I’m not planning on changing themes this year, but I am going to try and add a bit more detail to each video. Thanks for watching. Happy New Year.🥰📖
Love your videos and topics. I've been following and adapting your planner ideas for 2 years. Unfortunately, I spend too much time watching videos about how to do stuff and not enough time doing it.
Crystal, I love, ❤Love your planner and video. Do you dale it? I'm that weird planner girl that carried one around in High-school "70's" I've been using onenote for work and getting the hang of it. I just don't have time, I'm older my life is truly too short, to come close to your perfection.
Thank you for your feedback. I try to do a mix of How to and practical application. I am glas that works for you. Thanks for watching. Happy New Year. 🥰
HI, Crystal: I enjoy the mix of videos you have posted, both those that are detailed and others that are more of an overview (this one was particularly good). The more comprehensive videos I tend to skip around to view the sections that are more useful so the sections/chapters are helpful to me. I would probably never have a planner as comprehensive as yours since I do not have the patience to do that, but many of your suggestions have been great (love the pointers on linking!) and I do appreciate the tips you have supplied through your videos. BTW, I like the plum background! Thanks again for your work. I very much appreciate your videos and it is great knowing that there are others that love OneNote as much as I do.
Thank you for the fantastic feedback. I will take it into consideration for this years videos. I truly do love OneNote!!! The plum is my favorite, I just wonder if it will work with my stickers..... decisions, decisions. Happy New Year and thanks for watching!🥰
Maybe do a cream or light tan color notebook. You could then change your tab colors by month or quarter. I know it is boring but everything goes with cream. Not sure if there is enough contrast though if you use a white page. I am thinking of a mint or light teal cover but I am probably just going to go black or gray. I have been using OneNote planners that I have purchased on Etsy and find that I don't use all of the pages. I think I am going to embrace your planner for the first quarter and just put the pages in that I use. I think I will borrow your little planner idea to decide on my sections. Thanks for your inspiration! Now to relook at your videos on setting up the planner with linking tabs. Such fun! Happy New Year and enjoy having your husband around more. My husband still works part time. That works great for both of us!
Thanks for your kind words. I think the cream idea is a good one. I used black 2 years ago and I loved it. I wish you luck on starting to create your own sections. Remember to just put in what you need and know that you can always move your pages to other sections if you need to. Start small and build as you go. Keep me posted on how it is going. I wish you and your husband a Happy New Year. 🥰
I love all the information and ways to create a planner. I've bought a few but they are not setup for what I need, to many pages. One questions that I wonder and haven't seen you talk about, is how big is your Onenote page set up? Auto, Tabloid, Letter? How does your planner look on your cell phone? I have a laptop and love it but when I'm away from home, I really need my planner on my cell to be accessible.
I use the auto setup for the page size. I like the infinite possibilities of the space. I do have a video showing how to define the size for printing purposes, for students notes, etc. On my Phone, the page looks and functions fine. Because most of my pages are set up in tables, I can just scroll from one part of the page to the next. I have been doing this for 6 years now and haven't had a problem. I will do a video to share this since I can't leave a photo here in the comments. Thanks for the question and happy planning.
I don't use Outlook on a daily basis, but I did create a video talking about the integration between Outlook and OneNote. th-cam.com/video/7OV8JscZ6qQ/w-d-xo.html I hope this helps.
Great question. I use a graphic that I create in PowerPoint for the notebook background with the spiral binding. That graphic is then set as the background in OneNote. I can then write on top of it with my apple pencil or building on top of it with tables, text boxes or other grahics. I hope this answers your question. Happy New Year and Happy Planning!!!🥰

I do like the detail! Thanks Crystal!

I like the charcoal-it will be a neutral against whatever theme you choose. And I LOVE the detail instead of having to go back and find older videos.

Crystal,
When you set your planner up, do you make it where it’s a background or do you keep it so you can type in it?
