Anyone like myself who doesn’t know the history of Shalam, would not take him seriously because of the way that he portrayed himself on social media. His character and the way in which he spoke and presented himself, is just not for me personally. He is prime example of how some rastafarian has lost their morals, dignity and respect to their culture. He might not be begging on TikTok, but his behavior and his actions are no different from the ones who begs on the app. He’s not being taken seriously because he behaves like a madman, using profanities that are unbecoming of a rasta man. The little that I know of him, is what I see on social media! So therefore I would not view him as a seasoned professional and that’s his fault. Rastas used to teach love and unity to everyone they came in contact with, so how is it that he’s saying that he doesn’t like people? His behavior is taking a toll on his appearance because he looks way older than the age that he says he is. He needs to get back to his roots and use his voice to make good music and not to send sym whenever he’s upset. The young youths are going astray because they have no guidance and no one to lead them into the right direction where music is concerned. What is he teaching the youths of today? His listening skills are so poor, that he can only listen to respond and not listen to understand. Now that I have information that he has music out there that I can listen to, I will go ahead and listen to his music.
