Rockman Mochi is a hack of the Japanese version of Mega Man 1 released in August 2002. This modification contains only the first six completed stages (besides having graphics, level design and modified sprites).

Very interesting rom hack there! Good to see that Rockman/MM1 can still dish out some nice hacks here?! Although only the robot masters levels were done, they're interesting to play through and maybe someday we'll see a more completed hackset?! It'd be shame if it wasn't ever finished.
Since this hack was made in 2002, I don't think it will be finished. Maybe somebody takes this game and finishes it, just like a person who is finishing old Pokémon hacks, and making them come back to life.
This is an awesome rom hack - level design is really well thought out.
Cut Man has become Overrated Man, Guts Man has been reduced to literal trash, Elec Man is...a magnet, Fire Man is now Arabian, Bomb Man is...I’m not gonna make a joke for that one, and Ice Man is...he is...uhh...I don’t know...who is that?!

@@makutas-v261 look, I like Metal Man, it’s just that the weapon he gives you kinda ruins him for me. Metal Blade completely breaks the game, and I don’t like that. I like Shadow Blade for basically taking the idea that they had with Metal Blade, but making it so you can only have one on screen at a time, it functions like a boomerang so it doesn’t go the full screen distance, you can’t aim it down, and it doesn’t have as much ammo as Metal Blade. It’s a good weapon, but balanced, meanwhile the Metal Blade is absolutely the best weapon in the original hexology of games and it isn’t even close. I like good weapons, but when they’re THAT good they become a problem in my eyes.
@@HCN-002OldChannel You can just go for Metal Man at the end of the robot master phase, that's what I do, but after doing it many times I found myself missing the Metal Blade a whole lot, the other weapons just don't cut it, only the Quick Boomerang comes just a lil close

I dont remember this hack. Certainly impresive for its time. Not a lot of tools where available back then. Early 00s I was working o a MM2 hack but lost my progress on a HDD crash :(
