Praising God while you hurting and crying your eyes out in pain while you shouting is what helps you make it through in your right mind! Thank God for making a difference because of praise!!!

Despite all the joyful hymns and dances that were played (us Kenyans tend to do that to distract ourselves from thinking about death and celebrating the life of the deceased), I was just too depressed to do anything at that point. Just for more context my friend was only 19 when he was killed in a train accident, and I still can't stop thinking about it to this day. It actually haunts me, and I'm usually the one who loves haunted stuff, but this was WAY too much for me to handle.

Some people are experiencing break through at funerals it can be so tough on them emotionally that the holy spirit has to over shadow and bring about an inner peace... and this is usually the start!

I have NEVER seen anyone carry on like this OUTSIDE of a church environment. I'm in the public all of the time.....never seen it happen. Not in the mall, at parties, at the gym, mowing the lawn, walking the dog, washing the car. The point is this...Whenever the spirit of God fell on people in the bible it could happen at any moment.

here is some news if you die in christ there is not weeping needed. My aunt was a christain and there was no crying. People were shouting. Cause a saint went home. We no longer call it funerals but home goings. People spoke of her life. She suffered in her body and she was faithful through it all. In fact she left while serving her king. No need to cry unless you die without Christ. Then your tears will just begin.....now that si something to cry about. Heaven is full of joy.
I dread going to funerals because of the celebratory mood, especially if the dear friend is a Christian or a family member happens to be a Christian. I have to hold that sobbing mess part of me in and pretend to celebrate. Its hard not to go insane or storm out in tears. I do applaud these people for being able to open up and celebrate, for its something beyond my ability for at least a couple years.
