My son went to R-MC there and last Sept, bought a nice condo in Ashland. He fell in love with the town while in school. And for those of you with high school kids - the college has a lot of scholarships. My son only had to pay for dorm and food.

What is Ashland VA near to a big city
Right outside Richmond and a little over an hour from Washington, DC.
Ashland, VA is also kinda close to Fredericksburg. Like an hour down I-95
@@slasherhawk24 Do we consider Fredericksburg a big city? It's growing, but not close to city-like.
