Bridgecom have had issues since Day 1. Also the original Yaesu DR-1X's were problematic in the beginning as the PA's were burning up. Yaesu bought some of them back or traded for the DR-2X. The 1X's went through a refurbishment and new Firmware and seem to be doing well. They were resold for around $500.00
Do you get the 40 watts out if the bridgecom after the duplexer or is that 40 before duplexer ?

but no Motorola repeaters so not really a fair test..
RT 97 lacks CW ID and courtesy tone. The CW ID wichnis required every 10 minutes for all repeater set ups .
