  • Text in PowerPoint typically defaults to shrink text size automatically as more text is added to a text box. You can fix this problem by adjusting the text box settings on the format shape menu under 'size & properties'. This video shows you how to do this for an individual text box and offers a suggested way to change the default settings for text boxes throughout the rest of your document or slide deck.

      @@SpotlightImpact hey another resizing question? Do you have something that explains how to insert an image into an image box but it retains the image box sizing and not the original ratio of the image?

    When I right click the text box their is no option for format shape

    • @SpotlightImpact
      @SpotlightImpact  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question Chloe! You should be able to get the Format Shape menu to pop up when you right-click the text box (make sure to scroll all the way down). If not, here's another option to get there from the Shape Format tab on the ribbon. Let me know if this helped. th-cam.com/video/-VFaRI75FLc/w-d-xo.html

    How to make default behaviour for new text boxes NOT auto fit?

    • @SpotlightImpact
      @SpotlightImpact  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the question Lorne! I made this video for you. I hope it answers this question. 1) update the text box behavior on the master slide which will update the text box behavior on all of the other slide layouts. 2) you can create your own text box > right-click > set text box to default - then all new text boxes you insert will take the original text boxe's format. Hope this is helpful! Thanks for watching, I hope you'll subscribe and share with others 🙏 th-cam.com/video/uIteePB-0FQ/w-d-xo.html
