Part 1 and 2 of the video are dedicated to people belonging to Qila Sobha Singh (now Ahmad Abad) irrespective of their nationality. I have tried to capture socio-cultural existance of people who lived in Qila before 1947 seen through the eye of a 10 year old girl-child. I must add here that irrespective of differences, people in pre-partition Punjab had found a way to live together peacefully and harmoniously ........ Looking forward for your feedback....
Thanks for mentioning about my previous comments. Just to add here that maan gee has mentioned about a dai named Halwani. This was a kashmiri lady and you may be surprised to know that she was the great grand mother ( pardadie ) of a world famous spin bowler IMRAN TAHIR ,who used to play for South Africa in recent past. There was a women named Ram Pyrie, whose son was naturally circumcised. My dadi jaan thought her and her son kalma on to be safe while travelling to india. As a child we used to hear a lot of stories from our dadi jaan about that time.

As per the information available from Pandit ji of Pehowa our great grandfather left Kila in approximate in 1900 to Pasrur and then to Lahore, Both my grandfather and great grandfather were Superintendent in Punjab High court. And after partitions we settled in Delhi chandigarh and Panchkula. And now we all are born after 1947. Thanks again. Sham Sunder Soni Panchkula.
