Thanks for posting this video. Planning to do this ride in August this year. Not used to climbs where I live so was good to see the one out of Settle. That does look challenging but seems quiet so just need to concentrate on keeping the legs going. Will watch the others.
It's one of those things that's obvious once you see it, we were stood there looking at maps and Garmin's until we looked down & spotted the signage :)
We are looking to visit morecambe and have a cycle around , is there any good info, maps or website that can give me a few easy circular routes of about 20miles .. T8a
Hello inspector Hope, again I believe you are confusing the upload date with the actual ride date which clearly shown as "Saturday, September 10, 2016" on Strava. Steve

I failed to initially locate that underpass out of Morecambe too! Really enjoyed this video, thanks for putting it up.

Thanks, Richard I love to hear from those with opinions different from the rest of the pack. Steve
A very enjoyable route so far helped along with some glorious weather .
Cheers Dave, the weather was fantastic on day one. Steve

Thanks, Mike the other vids will be out in dribs and drabs, 🎥
Looks like a great ride, would love to try this one 🥰
It is a good route to try out, have you seen part two yet?
Looking to do this later this year . Having done the c2c Whitehaven to Sunderland- is this easier or harder ?
I believe it is easier, the climb out of settle is nasty though, Enjoy :)
@@CycleroutesInfo thanks - the video does suggest more rolling hills - yes that one does look nasty , looks about a mile up hill too

Great to see you are back and broadcasting! Fabulous weather- is it usually like that? Probably not this February!
Thanks Peter, North yorkshire is usually raining, or just wet from all the sweat and tears of the people climbing up the hills around Settle. 😢
Great Route minus the nasty uphill bit lol.. plenty of bear stops along the way
Bears are Nasty mate, I just ride away from them. 🐻🚲😂
