playing stardew with a partner is something that can be so special. when i played with my partner i dropped the line “you don’t need a glow ring to light up my life.” they were flustered for five straight minutes.

You should definitely do a year 2 with EJ! I love watching new players find the parts that speak to them. Also her snagging that town river lucky ring was hilarious!
I have about 1,000 hours in Stardew and my boyfriend has around 400. We play together all the time and we always separate tasks. I'm in charge of fishing, farming, and foraging while he gets to the bottom of the mines. Then, once he gets to the mines, I farm ores for sprinklers while he gets his fishing level up. It's so much fun playing together.
I've decided that the true story of stardew valley is a couple who come into town, fix the community center, help the economy and befriend everyone. It's much more heartwarming that way.

@@Poxial You're welcome! When my husband and I got married in 2022 one of the best things I did was just let go and relax and go with the flow, it was so much easier to enjoy the day. And (this could be unsolicited advice but it's good advice I swear), small weddings are definitely a lot less stressful. If you're like me and have cousins, aunt and uncles that don't attempt to keep in contact and are super judgmental don't invite them. Only invite people you truly want to celebrate your love with. You don't need to be a people pleaser on your wedding day! My husband and I only had 45 guests, close friends and close family and we wouldn't have had it any other way. And back to the related topic: Truly I can't wait to see more videos with EJ.
I'm only 10 minutes in but I love this video so far. As someone who loves playing games but am not a min-maxer or anything I'm enjoying this more laid back take on the game. Also EJ is adorable and hilarious.

this was so wholesome and fun to watch :) it reminded me of the virtual stardew dates i went on last year, we'd call each other over discord and play stardew together for hours! it was really really fun, sadly we did not get very far into the game. but i'm hoping that my next relationship will be with someone who will also happily play stardew with me!

not at all a criticism but i love the stark contrast between their vibes. Poxial sounds so chill and like "whatever goes, goes" type of dude while EJ sounds like she never ends a sentence, like she anxiety is right around the corner, but you're so excited you cant even notice. I'm but one minute in and i feel like i need to grab my popcorn for this one.

you should 100% a game called travellers rest on steam. they just had a very big, awesome update come out and i think you'd love experiencing this new type of game. it'd be a challenge as theres a lot to do, but i think it'd made great content! essentially the main thing in the game is to run a tavern, but theres farming, skill points, a city/town (added in the new update), you craft and gather resources. LOTS of cooking and brewing for different foods/drinks to put in ur tavern. etc. i think you'd love it!

you should 100% a game called travellers rest on steam. they just had a very big, awesome update come out and i think you'd love experiencing this new type of game. it'd be a challenge as theres a lot to do, but i think it'd made great content! essentially the main thing in the game is to run a tavern, but theres farming, skill points, a city/town (added in the new update), you craft and gather resources. LOTS of cooking and brewing for different foods/drinks to put in ur tavern. etc. i think you'd love it!
