Have you tried Space and Chill Out by the KlF , they were my go to sounds when things were starting to go on pyschedelics , Alex Patterson from the Orb had a bit to do with Space, i'm 52 I think and still listen to this type of music , in my van its Orblivion don't want to hear the negative frequency. Keep going we need more kids like you.

Still have the cassette, absolutely adored this, hammered it to death. I think I listened to it again about 20 years back, then life as it does flies in front of you. It has been an immense pleasure to find this again (even tho the cassette is in a box in a back room). I do know however that I will not wait another twenty years to enjoy this( & Little Fluffy Clouds). Never thought I'd get into my 50's and still absolutely love the Orb, you don't need to autotune Genius...

Went to see The Orb on 24/2/24 at The Phoenix, Exeter. Went with a much loved friend and a couple of other good people. I thought the violin support act was completely surplus, but the rest of the night was a tonic. Loved it! Jiggled about like a young’un and felt happy and high without any chemical help (apart from cider!)

I was biking on a long dark road on the contryside outside Gothenburg and heard this on the radio around 1992. The music was new to me and it was a great emotional experience. Must find the CD I thought. Later I heard this long version on Gothenburg radio station HQ.
I never ventured into the rave scene but was and am a big Floyd fan, yea it sounds Floyd like I'm only into the first track.....I'm thinking 'Careful with that axe Eugene'....never wanted to dive too deep into the drug scene as I knew I'd never come back but I relate of course to many of the comments on here! saw these guys in N.Y.C at THE ROSELAND....what a show...japanese girls in ultra mini tops and skirts..girls/clothes all spray painted silver..."High Times" was there an! d had a table set up...they had all kinds of bongs pipes that u could use...u supply weed. i used one that was a basket ball pump...AND i was tripping ballz....what a night..to top it off we got lost on our way back to CT, and we got shot at in Spanish Harlem at 430a.m....mab what a night.

This track, at the time, was sold as the longest duration for a chart single, at over 40 minutes long. That was part of the reason I went out and bought it. But I liked it so much I also bought their album “U.F.Orb” off the back of it.
