This video is the only source of information I could find on explaining how to select a program... The manual doesn't do a good job of letting you know the icons aren't buttons, and to select the program before the initial start. Thank you very much for the help!
I am an outdoor runner, looking for my first treadmill. I'm 5'5"... what makes this a treadmill for "walkers" and not runners? Please explain! Thank you!
The motor is not as powerful and the deck is shorter than we prefer for running. Depending on your running stride, you might feel like you are running out of room.
@@KMFNYCI still love my 7.0! Used most days either by me or by my husband. My biggest complaint is that my water bottle rattles a lot when running. I’m super glad I upgraded a bit- it’s a great machine.
In addition to thanking you for your very good explanations, I had a question from you, and that is whether this treadmill can be a good option for the blind, do the control keys have good accessibility for a blind person, thank you for your answer.
If it is doing this outside of a preset program, you should contact Horizon's customer service. There was a recall on the older T101 model. They should send you USB drive to update the treadmill and stop this issue. I hope that helps!
im 220 lbs i want to do brisk walking with/without incline 30 minutes 4x-5x per week, including light jogging prob 5-10 minutes per session. you say good for walking only? i cant really walk more than 4 or 5 let alone 10. i'm not sure i understand your comment, i'm not a outdoor jogger, but at 300lbs i would hope that this thing can support 15 minutes a day of 6mph jog for 220lbs without struggling motor or shaking???. and i love the dials - killer feature...
I'm only 5'4", and I feel like I'm running out of room on the T101 sometimes. The Horizon 7.0 AT is much better for running. It's more stable, especially when inclining. Its deck is also a lot roomier.
@@Jay-ez5wq It's doable, but I would strongly recommend the Horizon 7.0 AT for running. It's sturdier, and it will hold up better under your intended use.
I love my T101. I was over 300 lbs when I started my walking journey and I’m down 28 lbs. for me it’s a good investment

I have the t101 and it works just fine for running. No issues
Thank you! I ended up going with the 7.0AT and I love it!

I had the same question as you, so how did you find the 7.0at so far after 7 months?
@@KMFNYCI still love my 7.0! Used most days either by me or by my husband. My biggest complaint is that my water bottle rattles a lot when running. I’m super glad I upgraded a bit- it’s a great machine.
The water bottle placment is flat. Will the bottle shake a lot if you are jogging?
It may shake some, but we have not had anything fall over or out of the cup holder area.
How do I adjust from program to a different program without the + or - symbols
The blue dials allow you to scroll through the built-in programs.
In addition to thanking you for your very good explanations, I had a question from you, and that is whether this treadmill can be a good option for the blind, do the control keys have good accessibility for a blind person, thank you for your answer.
The dial adjustments may be helpful, but the buttons are not tactile. I would not consider the console very accessible overall.
hi! my treadmill keeps changing the speed on its own. do you know how i can change this setting?

Just got mine. Does the P1 flashing turn off after use?
The P1 only flashes before you set a program. It will stop when you select quick start, manual, or anyone of the preset programs. I hope that helps!
How bout assembly ??
How many hours of work and manpower needed to assemble
At this point, I am almost set to buy this one
Your experience may vary, but probably about 2 hours maximum. It is much easier to do with the help of another person.
Very easy to assemble. 3 screws for each bar on the side, and 4 for the console. I was able to assemble it myself.
I’m not planning on running all the time. Is this treadmill a good option? Or is the 7.0 a more balanced option?
I would go with the 7.0 AT if you are planning on running at all. The T101 is great for walking, but I prefer not to run on it.

I'm 6'0", and I run three 10 minute miles on this thing every day. I do not use incline functionality though, just flat running.
Just a walker. Going with the T101. I’ll let you all know. ☮️
I hope you like the T101! I'm looking forward to hearing what you think!
Would it work for me if I run about 3k 3 to 4 times a week?

What price is the updated model
Treadmill prices change a lot, but at the time of this comment, the T101 is $649! Be sure to double-check the current pricing.
Picked it up for $500 at the beginning of 2025.
