Very nice to study.. Those air nozzles on the incinerator where I'm at fully covered inside with cement.. I guess some people don't know what those "bolts" were for..thanks for sharing boss

I believe for the smoke to not come out through the air ports which is on incinerator side.

Is there an optimum distance for best combustion to which the air nozzles should be opened/closed because I couldn't find any specific details in the manual. I have been getting negative chamber pressure alarm as soon as I am starting the incinerator even without any garbage or sludge.Have checked and cleaned all chambers and primary blower .Found in order.I am not sure how much the nozzles to be adjusted.

@@Adventure-Story could you suggest something i can try to get rid of this alarm? Not being able to run the incinerator .

Normally incinerator are pre adjusted, for certain loads if negative pressure presents that means somewhere there is stuck of ports and check also if your sensor working properly.Take you the tube from chamber to see if alarm working ,check other things that can make this alarms activated like set points to be correct .If you find something inform us!

@@Adventure-Story by nozzles i meant the bolts on the sides...sensor is working fine..have cleaned the ports..temporarily repaired the refractory today..will try starting tomorrow again.. in the video it says if low negative chamber pressure alarm comes, to close the nozzle by one turn..since i had taken it out for maintainence, i suspect that it is the cause of fault because rest was fine before but now i am unable to adjust properly.

@@aayusheekonar2360 I have found that once you have the air flow nozzles set, it is best not to keep adjusting them as the video suggests. If you do plan on adjusting them, which is sometimes necessary when burning sludge that has a high Lube oil content (burns hot) it is useful to put a black pen mark on the bolts where they were previously set. It can be a real pain trying to find the optimum position for them again. Also to inspect the passages are clear, you do not need to adjust the nut, just the four bolts holding the plate against the incinerator outer casing will allow the whole nozzle assembly to be removed.
