This is my opinion, and I hope no one gets upset by what I have to say. First, I have a few questions. Question#1: Where are the newlyweds supposed to live if the son Ali goes to school. Question#2: How is son Ali going to support her.
I think Father Ali is the one in love with the girl. He has verbally abused his wife and daughter because of his girl. He is constantly looking for her like a love sick puppy. The father knows that the only way he can keep the pretty pet he is in love with is to force his only son to marry her.
