    Great job on the install video! We have one installed too. We have been able to use some of the footage in our YT videos as well but our primary reason is like you said, to document when people cut us off. Safe travels out there! - Mike and Shelley

    @RVWagginTails The rear camera on this model is not the waterproof one for mounting exterior of the vehicle. The small square one that comes with the F7N has the waterproof rear camera.

    Thanks for sharing when we got a truck and trailer 5 years ago we were shocked how many people cut us off so we got a dashcam and now with the class A shockingly even more people like to jump in front of us and break! It is a shock what goes on. Hope you dont have to really use it but it is good to have.

      Not that I was a repeat offender of doing the same thing before I had a towable rig. But I now have a much better respect for the over the road truckers that deal with this all the time. I see people accelerate past me only to get in front of me for seconds before taking the exit. Not only did they put my life and property at risk but theirs and others as well. Thanks for watching I appreciate it. And you two keep up the good work on your channel.!!

    I owned a Redtiger F7NP but unfortunately the after 3 months the 12 volt power adapter broke and after 7 months the suction cup mount fell apart. Both were under warranty only after I wouldn’t leave them alone I was sent new parts. After 14 months the micro usb power plug broke off into the camera and I was done. Out of warranty. I would definitely hardwire the camera and buy the other windshield adapter.

      Thank you for the feedback. We haven't had those issues but have had the windshield mount fall off on really hot days.

    You said it connected to wifi. Do you mean bluetooth? Or can you only connect your phone to it when you have access to wifi?

    • @RVWagginTails
      @RVWagginTails  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First, thanks for watching and responding. Secondly in order for your phone to connect to the dash cam and retrieve videos or to have a live view of maps while you're driving. You have to enable the Wi-Fi feature on the dash cam. At that point you connect to it from your phone. This gives you the ability to view videos and watch your view real time on the GPS map. I also believe you have to enable it every time you want to do this. So it's not like you turn it on and leave it on, you turn it on and then when you power off the dash cam you have to go into the settings and enable it again.

    is the F7np rear camera water proof?
    thank you

    • @RVWagginTails
      @RVWagginTails  ปีที่แล้ว

      You know, I can't answer that with 100% confirmation. But I know it was designed to be mounted outside as well. For my case the cable wasn't long enough to reach. So I mounted it on the rear window.

      The F7NP rear camera is not waterproof, for in car only. The F7N comes with the waterproof rear camera.

      Are you saying that when you turn your vehicle off that it shuts off? If so you'll need to find a always on fuse slot. Let me know.

      @@anthonycarter3942 that's weird. Maybe wire it directly to the battery. Add an on/off switch to turn off when needed.
