    I wasn't initially going to watch this one, but I'm glad I did. Watching you two manhandle than massive piece of steel under the big hammer gave me such 19th century industrial vibes and I loved it. That initial shaping felt like a more manual version of those videos of massive connecting rods and machine parts being forged.

    It seems like you could use the same type of lifting rig Alec made for himself when he made a giant blade for the guys on How Ridiculous. I mean, you had a second pair of hands this time, but might not for future projects. Also, either Nick is huge or you are tiny...guy's like twice your size!     Great vid, now what are you going to do with it ? I'd weld 2 eyes on it, get it sandblasted and hot zinc sprayed so it wont rust and hang it on a wall mounted wrought iron bracket on chains, make a great shop sign.

    I suggest you use it to make a ridiculously proportioned sign for your shop. Scale up the logo you use to engrave in your kitchen products and carve it into a board, then hang it under the giant blacksmith knife over the door of the shop.

    How about forging a side-axe. A side-axe is an axe or hatchet with one side flat, so you can trim hand made shingles, etc.
