Earlier this year, KIM DONG WAN promoted with his group Shinhwa. Now, he returns with a solo mini-album, "D".
As a member of Shinhwa, and as an actor in TV shows, movies, and musicals, KIM DONG WAN has been exploring and developing his talents. Finally, for the first time in the 7 years of promoting as a solo artist, he will release mini-albums "D" and "W" (coming in November), both named after himself. In these albums, KIM DONG WAN will try various new things in collaboration with many artists.
The title song "I'M FINE" is a rich ballad number perfect for the fall season, about a guy trying to play it cool and survive a break-up.

今年の上半期、グループ‘神話’で活発な活動に乗り出したキム・ドンワンがミニアルバム『D』で、
今年の秋ファンのもとに帰って来る。
グループ‘神話’のメンバーとして、そしてドラマ、映画、ミュージカルなど様々なジャンルで幅広い活躍を繰り広げているキム・ドンワンは、ソロ活動7年ぶりに自分の名前のイニシャルを取ったミニアルバム『D』と、11月リリース予定の『W』でソロ歌手としては初めてミニアルバムをリリースして、様々なアーティストと一緒にした幅広い音楽で新たな挑戦に乗り出す。
今回のタイトル曲「I'M FINE」は、別れた後、平気なふりをして、なにもなかったように生きていこうとする男の話を歌っており、曲全体にわたってほのぼのとした深い秋の感性を盛り込んだ。

그룹 신화의 멤버로, 그리고 드라마, 영화, 뮤지컬 등 다양한 장르에서 폭 넓은 활약을 펼치고 있는 김동완은 솔로 활동 7년 만에 자신의 이니셜을 딴 미니앨범 ‘D’와 오는 11월 발표 예정인 ‘W’로 솔로 가수로서는 처음 미니앨범을 발매하며, 다양한 아티스트와 함께 한 폭넓은 음악으로 또 다른 시도에 나선다.
이번 타이틀 곡 ‘I'M FINE’은 이별 후 애써 괜찮은 척, 담대한 척 살아가보려는 남자의 이야기를 노래하며 곡 전체에 은은하면서도 진한 가을 감성을 담아냈다.

I'm loving the fact Shinhwa is currently putting out solo music as this has been something they've been wanting to do for a while now since their comeback. Loved this song by Kim Dong-wan as it really captured the true essence of who he is personally as an artist. Very touching and heartfelt. Hope to hear Andy or Minwoo next, then eventually Hyesung & lastly Eric rounding it off.
