I'm hoping that society's condemnation of solitude and aloneness can ease up a bit. It's like you're committing a crime or something if you're alone, and if you like to be alone, people think you have a mental illness. It's really bad. Great video❤!
As a society, we were conditioned to feel certain ways about being alone certain ways about how to feel about dying certain ways about feeling towards caring for people who are ill or who are dying. It’s totally different in our culture. This is all something that we learned none of it is our truth. Our truth is what makes us feelconnected to our soul and for myself I can’t do it in all the noise I have to be alone and that’s when you get the answers they don’t come while you’re in a noisy chaotic world they come when you’re alone and you’re connected to God or whatever you wish to call your higher power.

Very well said. I am retired in the Philippines, where people have this really strange inner awkwardness about talking to foreigners and it makes life very lonely at times, even in a crowd of people. My old Buddhist teacher made similar observations to those in this video. I recall him saying that when you live on your own, you must face your own inner issues, as there is nobody to project them onto and to blame for them. It is easier to be peaceful calm and gentle when you are alone and not troubled by the many irritations of interacting with other people. God can and does gives us seasons of isolation but can and does also put us right in the thick of it, sometimes dealing with the most difficult of personalities at work, in our homes or neighborhood, church etc , it is in those situations that we really need the Holy Spirit to work in and through us so our behavior becomes Christlike, turning the other cheek, blessing instead of cursing, going the extra mile, giving what is demanded and even more besides etc.
If loneliness is reason for our growth and possibly power then being ugly is a blessing 🙂↕️

Perhaps I am wrong but isolating myself from the crazy world of non spiritual people is so much more peaceful, and just plain easier. I would love to get to my place of not being frustrated with the chaos of dealing with companies who screw up my accounts, like deactivating my internet connection by mistake, but I am glad to be thriving not surviving the outside world. My consciousness is responsible for my responses, and I believe outside activities to a certain extent. By remaining centered, I did get rewarded, but I will prefer not to have so many challenges. I am looking forward to more Divine Order than chaos, but being realistic know chaos is increasing for a while. No reaction, just response is my next step. Blessed be.
I am alone but never really feel lonely. I have also never had any need for approval, attention or to ”be seen” from other people.

Well, there's depth and then there's DEPTH, I seem to be at some level beyond the average spiritual person, I can't seem to connect with anyone, it seems to be going well initially until it proceeds and exceeds beyond casual teaching, then I find others closing up and protecting their beliefs, they don't believe enough to let go of everything.
