Looks amazing. Thanks for the tip for straightening the twisted section! I have always struggled and fussed for way too long after getting a “wiggly” in a bar. I sometimes use wooden mallet but even that does some damage .

Yeah it’s a bit counter intuitive bending it more out of the way to then bend it back but it works to get the wiggle out!

Hi Oscar, great stuff as always but i wonder why you would wait for the steel to cool down before cutting it with the anglegrinder.
I think it would hold its shape just fine even if you cut it while glowing. And the grinder doesnt mind a bit!

I’ll have to try it I’ve always thought the heat might mess the disc up!

I always curl up the horns on my firepokers so they do not poke your hand.

Yeah it’s a good idea, I tend to blunt off the ends of the more pointy horns.

Hi Oscar, cheers for the tips on the round bar twist. I used a thin cutting disc for the grooves but the effect was too severe. I will be using a chisel from now on. 👍

Yeah try with the chisel 👍

@@col925 I recently put out a video using a swage block to forge some bowls. I’m thinking of doing a shop tour since I have two areas where I work.

This is so great, and I appreciate that you're focusing on one part at a time. I've been doing fire pokers lately, just with a hook and a twist, and my next goal is to do a dragon's head like this! Having the parts of the project broken out will save me a lot of time when I give this a try. And as always, incredible job!
