Word of God: Working while it still day
John 9:4 NKJV
[4] I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.
Work and Day
Day denotes time
The Christian faith is not a holiday resort for lazy people
The Christian faith is not a home for power hungry leaders who want to be celebrated
We are not here to be recognised but to recognise Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
Matthew 11:28-29 NKJV
[28] Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Luke 19:10 NKJV
[10] for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
We are in ministry to serve and not to be served
John 20:21 NKJV
[21] So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."
Our ministry should not contradict that of Jesus Christ
The night that is coming is a season
Isaiah 60:2-3 NKJV
[2] For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. [3] The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
It’s not hours that you put in your work but the work that you put into your hours
God gives us nut but we have to crack them ourselves
Nobody has ever lost his shirt while his sleeves are rolled up
Why must we work?
•Because the Bible said
Genesis 2:15 NKJV
[15] Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
Working is not a sin, the Bible commanded it even before sin came in
Ephesians 2:10 NLT
[10] For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
We are saved to serve
John 17:8 NLT
[8] for I have passed on to them the message you gave me. They accepted it and know that I came from you, and they believe you sent me.
1 Corinthians 3:13 NKJV
[13] each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
It is only those works that we did for God with a genuine heart will survive the fire
Revelations 2 and 3 God says over and over again “I know your works”
We’re going to give an account for our works
Don’t underestimate your gift, be faithful with small things
Reasons we should work:
•We have already lost two full years through covid-19, we need to catch-up
•We have lost members, we have churches, we have lost Pastors, some believers have backslidden
•We have felt the pain of not being able to sing aloud to the glory of God
•We are now feeling the pain of load shedding
Covid made matters worse
As the church we need new blood
We need to reach out to unbelievers and bring them in the church
People are no longer interested in all these pulpit gimmicks of false Prophets
Peoples souls are hungry for the gospel of Jesus Christ, hence we need to go out and preach the Word
John 9:1 NKJV
[1] Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth.
John 8:59 NKJV
[59] Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
With stones ready to stone Him, but He still saw a blind man
2 Corinthians 4:1-4 NKJV
[1] Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. [2] But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. [3] But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, [4] whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
The most critical and crucial reason why we should work:
Because the globalists have plans to change the world for the devil
Revelation 13:14 NKJV
[14] And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.
These people are in the minority but they want to control the entire world.

I am so happy that Pastor Botwana is still the same. He was a light shining in the Assemblies of God, I even name my son after him, all praise to Jesus our master who has sustained him up to this far. I still love you tata. You gave me life.
