They did remove the Leafy CC as a warning, but since Ian is no longer making such content and was willing to be a little more conformist - unlike Leafy, who set out to ride the hate-wave to the very end - his channel most likely will be okay.
I don't think I can give someone like Leafyishere the benefit of the doubt when it comes to previous warnings/strikes or internal discussions he may have had with TH-cam prior to his account's termination; his content from the get-go (even when it was allowed) was pretty distasteful. I'd also like to say that comparing Leafy's termination to Dr Disrespect is a false equivalence, while the end result may have been the same, the means as to how they got there are radically different and shouldn't be compared in the same light. A more appropriate comparison to draw here would have been with GradeAunderA, another TH-cam channel centered around bullying/harassment and cynical worldviews, which instead of an outright ban had his entire channel demonetized. Either way, the moral of the story is that being a hateful person will always catch up to you.
I think the comparison between The Doc and Leafy is appropriate sure the methods were different but 0 communication was all the same. outright banned without being told having no strikes no warning or any sort just banned. even though both didn't seem to break the rules from what us the audience had understood to that point. what's even more unsettling is after all this time none of them know why exactly they were banned with leafy you can guess and might get it right but both you and I cannot be 100% certain and with Doc everyone including him is completely in the dark

The rest that he uploaded that were "about pokimane" he actually talked about very genuine subjects, like why you should stay away from gambling, and why he feels so lucky and optimistic. They were good videos, just with a misleading title. Clickbait if you will.

I think the entire situation is a double edged sword. It could be the right decision because some things should be censored whether people like it or not. But at the same time I think everybody should get a warning on something before they just get banned. Some kind of warning at least. But I also get why they'd just ban overnight. If he made that many videos and it was obvious harassment I can see why they did it
