    Does the deck lift move independent of the rear 3 point?

    Hi Tony, is there a chance you can measure the distance between the bottom edge of the mower deck to the ground? Mine has always seemed low, and yours looks higher. I just want to make sure I'm not imagining anything. When I went to pick it up, they were having trouble installing it. The mechanic did lok challenged in more ways than one. Sure appreciate if it's easy for you to do. Thx N

      Do u have problems goin in reverse - like super slow cuz bracket holding deck binds against rear pedal

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The brackets were put on backwards.

    I like this video. It was very helpful. I am still having difficulty connecting the PTO to the mower deck. It feels like the deck is too close to the pto underneath, so the universal joint is not straight. This is my first tractor, but I hope I explained my problem correctly

      try moving the lever to the rear pto and that frees up the mid one.

    Wow that nice my friend had a mid mount mower & he use to drive across it with the tractor like the & sales man said.
    It didn't take but a couple of years till he destroyed the mower.
    I would rather do it your way
    & have more control incase something goes wrong.
    He was always in a big hurry.
    I would rather take my time.
    Thanks Jerry.

      This mower deck was the first iteration. This was before LS had a drive over deck. This deck is still mowing strong.

    Hey, like your videos. I'm shopping for a subcompact now. My back and shoulders are not up to par; in your opinion, would it be too much trying to install the mower deck for someone such as myself?

      The John Deere 1025R has the best mid mount mower hook up hands down.

      I rarely bad-mouth brands. I have had fantastic service out of my TYM tractors. We sold all of our LS equipment about three years ago.

    How often and how easy is it to do lubrication while the deck is on the tractor?

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is not hard. You need a grease gun with a long hose. I don't remember what the manual says about intervals. I sold this tractor 6 years ago.

    I am a Kubota guy and surprise to see your deck is almost like mine. You may could get gauge wheels for a Kubota BX deck when you need new ones because the grease fitting is in the wheel concealed from damage. Great video.

    Wow thats a beefy belt, is that normal for PTO driven mower decks?

  • @tonyxenos1818

    The tractor can’t push its own weight tryin to go in reverse. The rear pedal binds against the bracket holding deck. Any tricks I don’t know about to fix this ?

    Would you buy this same setup today knowing what you know today? Considering one vs John Deere X750.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're going with John Deere then go with the 1025R. It is almost the same price but you get so much more tractor. I think TYM tractors are the best value on the market. The t254 is a horse that is comparable to the 1025R. We ended up with two TYM tractors and we have worked them super hard.

    I have a zero turn currently- ProTurn 152- also have a mt125.. thinking of selling the zero turn and getting a belly mower so I only have one machine.. do you think it’s worth it? I know you lower the belly mower with the 3pt lever.. so I’d have to remove deck when using any 3pt attachment… but wondering what your thoughts are since you have a belly mower

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would not get the belly mower. I found the rear mounted finish mower just makes better sense. It's heavier built and costs less .
