Wow. The scenery makes it... and that is one of the best parts of MTB for me is being in nature. And some of those first drone shots are art. Love the side shadow shot of Yuka on her bike, shot form above. Very cool.
For those in the US, there are lots of great alpine trails in Colorado and Utah. If you're feeling particularly frisky Mt. Elbert (14,443ft), the highest point in Colorado and the entire rocky mountains is open to bikes, it is a lot of tough hike-a-bike to get up it, but the descent is only rated as single black, so is fairly accessible to most riders if they can do the climb.
Great video Eric, really captures the joy of the alpine trails around Revy. I've probably ridden Frisby 20 times and it never disappoints. Keystone is my favorite though, it's just fantastic. Very blessed to live in Revelstoke.
BC Alpine! A bucket list activity, for sure! Hey thanks for the Spider Mountain plug, I was out there for the first time a couple weeks ago. It's getting really busy, so that's a good thing and hopefully they will build out a couple more trails they had planned.
Great video. Was lucky enough to visit bc in 2015. It truly is heaven on earth. The scenery is breath taking . Its difficult to find an alpine trail here in the uk , lol. I guess I will have to stick to cycling along a muddy canal path for the time being!

So better than Into the Mystic? I have ridden Frisby lots and was looking to do Mystic but ran out of time this year. That new Frisby Vista has some awesome views, especially at that cliff/lookout where you had the drone footage.

Same being 13 and living an hour and a half from the only Mountain near you doesn't make it very easy to ride.

One of the trails in my local “park” is just like that, fast, flowy, it’s not difficult at all but it’s so fun. Btw it’s called, Kona

I love continuous mellow flowy DH. My favorite trail type. High alpine is the icing on the cake though. Just plain beautiful up there.
