Generally, Maitland is more car-dependent like many suburban areas. However, there are pockets within the city that offer more walkable environments. While Maitland doesn’t have anything like Winter Park’s Park Avenue, it’s only a short drive away!
If you live around DT Maitland it is. Or, stay east of I4 and a good walk or bike ride is doable. My wife and I walk to Starbucks on weekend mornings from time to time, it’s a good walk.
Is Maitland walkable at all, such as in Winter park as I visited, you can walk to the different area restaurants and shops.
