We have the S-Blast based off of the Wii Scope, or whatever it’s called, and people have been asking for a weapon based around that for a while, and now it’s here. Same with a new brush, we’ve been asking for one, and now we got one. The new map is definitely an improvement from the other OG splat 3 maps, and we got new modes, music, and a new original salmon run map! This update is so hype, keep it up Nintendo!
It's based the nes rocket blaster rather than than the wii scope gun. But I ain't complaining. It would be cool to see the wii scope on a brealla or shooter tho

For gameplay, there's definitely no stinkers like some from Splatoon 2, except for maps with uninkable turf (Wahoo World)
Is it weird that I'd be okay with that? Like, it could be the best beakon weapon in the game depending on the special (until ballpoint nouveau shows up anyway).
@@cosie1336 oh I wasn’t trying to present Beakons as a bad thing. It’s the reason I play VDapples. Lots of synergy with Wipers QR play style. I’m hoping for Kraken or Ink Jet as the special.
The s’ blast ‘92 appears to be a darker colored SNES super scope. Making it a blaster was unexpected. I for sure thought that if they ever added the superscope it would be, y’know, a scope charger
One thing I haven't seen anybody point out yet: There's a piece of headgear that's a combination of a backwards cap *_and_* sunglasses!! It's not the most important detail in this trailer, but it looks so freaking cool and I wanted to point it out

Day 63 of asking Nintendo to add recon mode to salmon run, also I’m so excited for the new maps and weapons. This season could definitely be the new best season
@@ultmewtwo not complaining about the maps my man but I’ll definitely explain, recon mode is already in the game, except it’s only for multiplayer maps. There’s a marigold right outside of hotlantis in splatsville or right by the train station in inkopolis that lets you access this mode. You get an entire hour to explore the maps wether it’s for turf war or ranked modes like tower control and rainmaker. It’s suprisingly helpful and a good way to find new squid roll and surge spots while also getting comfortable with the map, while not being bother by other players. We don’t have this for salmon run when it could really help. I am hopeful for it being added, I mean it’s such a simple addition and they pretty much already have the assets in the game, just kinda need to copy it and paste it for salmon run

I’ve personally learned a lot from recon mode, and I really just think it would be a good “quality of life” addition for the salmon run community. I mean, we don’t even have a REPLAY ability for salmon run yet (being able to watch your previous matches) which is weird since again, we have it for multiplayer. I just feel like salmon run isn’t as fleshed out as it could be.

5H is very new, also the Wiper gets a new kit (you can see Wiper Deco in the tableturf cards)
